WOW! That's an amazing collection! Thanks for taking the time to post it and for the story that goes along with it. Compared to the crudies we find here that's a collection of killers. Great to see it displayed nicely on the wall. Thanks for the show
Yeah that's a special kind of collection your lucky to have it and thanks for sharing with us. Love that first axe what's the material amazing artifacts like those Side notched archaic points too
Awesome collection and what an awesome gift from a neighbor... Thanx for sharing Tom... Best of luck to you in 2012!! I hope you find a ton of killers... B.C.
Really cool collection, your father and you are very fortunate to have such great folks around you... If you display them, can you keep the location of the farms with them. Perhaps some University may do some work with the info.
Very cool ! I had a fella give me a box of arrowheads from Texas once . There were some nice artifacts in the box . Those are some wonderful artifacts , thanks for sharing .
Tom/-- Super Collection. The little hematite piece with the sharp edge seems to match the long elk leg bone I have that I had called an awl. I've been recently told is was a body scraper used in sweat lodge cleansing rituals.Do you know if they had sweat lodges in the cultures in your areas ??Your piece looks like the mid-section out of mine.?????? Just a guess. :~)
Thanks for letting Us know a Little more about Ya, that's awesome to see Someone do something like that & Go to Some1 Who is going to Highly Appreciate Them & Share them with others to See& Enjoy what Took a Family a Entire Lifetime to Find, Very Very Cool, Thanks For Showing That Collection
Very nice collection. Are you going to put something there telling what family they are from? Your frame idea is great. I'm going to go back and favorite the original one so I can remember how you do that!
WOW!!!That pink thing in the middle of the frame on the right looks like a piece of candy!!!!AWESOME!!!The hardstone artifacts are amazing as well....thanks for sharing with us...
Uh....Wow....I have the exact same glass case at the end of your vid!!Crazy....
@MrRickjitsu That is funny about your case. My wife found that at an antique store and gave it to me for Christmas. It is perfect for storing larger and hardstone pieces.
@commissionertom Yeah,my parents found it at a garage sale ,I believe, then had their friend restore it for me...I use it for the same thing....hardstone,and larger flint tools!!
Never knew your such an avid collector!!! Great to see how your neighbor knew that collection would always be admired, found a great home displayed proudly now with the "Tom's Display Mounts". That wall is coming together, like the way you used different colors on the backgrounds and changed up the direction of the cases.
Tom, Thats a very nice collection and super nic of the guy to give them to someone with a love for history and love for what they stand for. Thats what I'll probably do with mine when the time comes.I's nice that you got them out of storage to display.
Thanks for sharing, its nice when a collection is lent/given to us because of our appreciation of the past. I also enjoyed the Pink Floyd in the background, great music!
@TheArchaeojohn Thanks for the comment. In a way I think all of us are stewards of a piece of our ancient past that most people don't comprehend. How many people ask you what tribe your arrowheads come from? Or do you have the handle for that ax? Glad you enjoyed the Floyd.
allways good to here good people stories, we need a whole lot more people in this world like that, wow wow wow what a beautifull collection of points, looks super on the wall very well done Mr. Tom. A++++++++'S FOR YOU. Billie thetnrelichunter

I enjoy the Local aspect of your collection...
And seeing the other local points really does add to the knowledge..and the fury of the hunt.
You can find me at any local auction with a single arrowhead..
Even if I don't go home with it I got to see it.
The exfoliation on that pendant is wild.
your right about that hematite material.
Funny I was saying killer Adena blade when you mentioned them on that farm.
That fluted axe is odd.
Thanks for keeping them together and showin em off.
