I could hold my breath for 1 min and 30 seconds. If you try to breath in using both your diaphram and lungs then you could do it longer. Then you need to keep calm and relaxed and not stress. You are not goin to die for holding your breath 2 min.
@95090978 Hate to break it to u but those world records over the official world record of around 12 minutes are done with the use of pure oxygen and thus they cant be compared to the one of stephane mifsud and others.
@namespatrick Its not that they weigh less as less weight = more buoyancy. But try going in a pool and go underwater let out your air and you will sit at the bottom, without air in your lungs you won't float back up. As air floats... .

They don't inhale before going down. No air = less weight. Freedivers train their body without the use of full lungs when diving. Try it.
