i have a question;

something i've been curious about with glass blowing...

when you are putting your mouth on the pipe to blow the glass does that thing like have a safety valve or something inside that keeps you from accidentally breathing in or something instead of blowing like if you were taking a deep breath but accidently forgot to move your mouth away from the pipe cuz wouldn't that suck in all that intense hot air into you?
