Seriously, those italian hand-motions are completely accurate! Usually it's accompanied by words, but I'm pretty sure an Italian would understand him.

I definitely have a world of respect for him, I'm working on trilingualism right now and hope to be conversationally fluent in four by the time I'm thirty. In addition, in so far as respect for actors, he is definitely a role model. His handsome oldermanness definitely assists!

Many people call Austrians "German" because of a shared language and more importantly a shared history. You have to know the history of Germany (The Holy Roman Empire, the March Revolution, Bismarck, the treaty of Versaille, Anschluss) to understand that and I hope Austrians are not offended by it.
