  • Lay off the Oneness Pentecostals! I'm not even a christian but it's ridiculous how worked up trinitarians get. You sit there at your computer just steaming over your own misconception of what Oneness Pentecostals believe: people clear across town from you in another church doing their thing. They may have strict puritan standards but here's a little note from the unbelieving world, "The Hollywood-Jan-Crouch big-money-whore TBN-DayStar game is more of a turn off than anything UPC'ers ever do!"

  • u.p.c. teaches that jesus, is not only god, the father, but god, the holy ghost yet not seperate

or distinct from one or the other.

In other words it is called modolism.

jesus, suddenly decides he wants to be god, the father, for a little while then gets tired of being god the father so changes into god the holy ghost,im not sure of what book they read

however the last time i read the bible it said that jesus christ is seated at the right hand of god the father.

  • @cecil605 that's incorrect. UPC teaches Jesus, is The Father, The Son, and Holy Ghost at the same time in one person. Like trinity except that they aren't a separate bodies. Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God, they are just manifestations of God... kinda like how the bible says God was the burning bush, we don't think the burning is separate from God, we don't him God the Burning Bush.. its just a further step from trinity into explaining strict monotheism like the Jewish beliefs

  • Revelations verse 6 through verse 7

And i beheld, and,lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders stood a lamb as it had bean slain, having seven horns and seven eyes which are the seven spirits of God,sent fourth into all the earth.

And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

in other words if i followed what you teach i will be following a confused jesus the sky is falling

just a quote from chicken little.....

  • the longer the song went the worship got better.

  • is it my imagination or did the worship get better as the song went on.

  • @jordanbo90 Trinity is not worshipping three different gods. It's saying that God exists is three distinct persons or ways. God the father, God the son, and God the holy spirit. One God, three manifestations.

  • I'm not questioning the legitimacy of the Apostolic/Pentecostal denominations. I used to attend a Oneness Pentecostal church in my younger years and there's no doubt that you can feel the spirit move. I just think they put too empahsis on words and acts when it all comes down to having faith. Paul says it's faith that saves us. I'm not saved because of what name I was baptized in or because I speak in tongues. I'm saved because I have an undying faith in Jesus as my savior. :)

  • @courtneyperry44 Amen and amen! I used to be a Modalist. After I was a Trinitarian. Now I believe Michael and Jesus are the same person. Jesus and His Father are one in purpose and in dominion (John 10:30), the Father is greater than Jesus (John 14:28) and Jesus is now sitting on God's right hand (Acts 7:56). I am not a Jehovah's Witness either though. Many people have taught Jesus and Michael are the same including John Gill, a baptist theologian.

  • @courtneyperry44 I'm so glad you are a follower of Jesus! But like James says Faith without works is dead, and the commandment from JEsus.. "except a man be born of water and spirit.." and you actually doing them is not merely a work, but obedience to a commandment, which is in turn you are placing FAITH in Jesus Christ by obeying him, the same way you don't murder, or steal, or commit adultery.. you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ therefore you obey His commandments...

  • @courtneyperry44 (cont'd) so the new birth experience is simply that.. putting your faith in Jesus Christ... kinda like when Paul says: Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit." 1 corinthians 12:3 ... you need the Holy Spirit to even be able to confess Jesus as Lord.. if you don't yield to the Spirit, how can Jesus be your Master?

  • @jordanbo90 In Corinthians it says that tongues is something we should aspire to, not something we have to do for salvation.

  • @courtneyperry44 you're right : ) , but the way the apostles knew the people were filled with the Spirit was when they heard them speak in tongues... cuz anyone can fake tongues, so you aspire to be filled with the Spirit and tongues come with it..

  • As much respect as I have for the Pentecostal/Apostolic Oneness denomination I believe that we aren't saved by whatever name we're baptized in, or by the act of baptism itself. We aren't saved by speaking in tongues, either. Paul says we're saved by our faith in Jesus as our savior. Speaking in tongues is an awesome bonus in being saved but not a requirement. I attend a non denominational church that is Pentecostal in it's practices. We're also trinitarian not oneness.

  • @courtneyperry44 Is that what Peter meant when he said, " Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12) Is it what Paul meant when he said, "For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13), or when he quoted Ananias as saying, "And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord." (Acts 22:16) I would say it is important.

  • @jordanbo90 I'm very familiar with the story of the Pentecost. In Romans Paul says we're saved by our faith in Jesus. We're not saved by the name we're baptized in when we're baptized, or even the act of baptism itself. We're not saved by speaking in tongues, either. We're saved by our faith in Jesus as our savior. Praying or speaking in tongues is just an amazing bonus. I attend a non denominational church that is Pentecostal in the way it does things. We're trinitarian, though. Not oneness.

  • What about in Romans when it says we're saved by proclaiming faith in Jesus? It says nothing about having to be baptized in Jesus' name or in the Holy Spirit to be saved.

  • In the beginning, I don't think God was talking to himself when he said let US (have to be at least two) make man in OUR image! Pretty simple to know there are at least two. Father, Son and Holy Ghost! These 3 agree as one but they are NOT just one. Letting you know if you deny, it's the spirit on Anti Christ. Not my doctrine, it's the TRUE word of God!!!!

  • Where is this at would love to vist

  • all i can say is wow so powerful

  • Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Did you notice Jesus has a God?

  • @UncleBernie2 There is nothing more heretical than the idea that the Godhead is composed of three persons, because there is nowhere in the Bible that this is expressed, but in fact is contrary to the idea of God as being the Holy One. Holy Trinity is paganistic. I have had Jews be very surprised that I could emphatically declare the Shema (Deut. 6:4) and deny the Trinity. As to the name of JESUS, Greek names were in use in Israel in that time. Thus, Paul calls Joshua Jesus in Hebrew 4.

  • Hope Center had the privilege to have the writer of this song (Bro. Sullivan from CLC) come play and preach. it was like 2 years ago but i was actually shocked that he didn't have our worship team sing this song.

  • CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE THIS CHURCH IS AT?? I WENT TO A CHURCH THAT HAD THE SAME NAME ONE TIME, BUT I DON'T THINK IT WAS A UPC CHURCH. PLEASE HELP.

  • how can you be offended by this song. nobody seems to mind throwing homosexuality in OUR face. . . they shouldn't mind us throwing tongue talkin worship back in there face???

  • Unfortunately, man created denominations, but God is still God no matter what the sign in the front yard says.

The Power and Annointing of the Holy Ghost was very apparent in this video!

  • I just love this church.. ON FIRE FOR JESUS!!

  • The enemy loves it when we argue our beliefs and doctrines with eachother for the world to see. All it does is confirm to would be Christians that we don't have anything different than the world does to offer them. I pray that each of us will try harder to let God's light shine through us so that only His glory is revealed.

  • I love this type of worship and I must say I feel the anointing super strong!

I have just read all of the comments that are still on here and it is very obvious that Satan is offended. I am not suprised but I am saddened that children of God would respond to eachother this way. All this "doctrine/cult" bickering is what turns away "would be christians." Do you know what this does to your witness?

  • I LVOE this song! it is SOO powerful!! And I love this church!! Such an annointing there! I miss it!!!!

  • Justpooh40 - Your religion is idolatry. I'm not ashamed of God or the church I attend, but pride is one of the deadly sins. Do you ever read the bible??

  • i got to say this is awesom this is the direction our church is going it is just taking time

  • nothing gets you pentecostals more excited than to worship yourselves as this song displays so well.

  • @sureshot7mag my my aren't you mean, thats what it's about at all. to Jesus be ALL THE PRAISE AND GLORY. God forbid that anyone glory in themselves.

  • @sureshot7mag you aren't listening to the song. that is not worshipping ourselves. we shouldn't be ashamed of the gospel. Paul wasn't, because it's the power of salvation to anyone that believe. So why should we?Psa 146:2 While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. Psa 150:4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

  • @Funnypandalonies You are the one not listening, This song isn't worshipping anyone except but pentecostals. I don't see how you can miss that except you are blinded by religion. All the scriptures you quote are true but thats not what you are doing.

  • @sureshot7mag I am listening, it's declaring ones faith. i don't see where this is worshipping pentecostals. Do you understand what it means to be pentecostal? do understand what pentecostals believe? do you understand how many are tried everyday because of their faith? I will shout from the mountain top the name of the Lord.

  • @Funnypandalonies I was raised in a devout UPC home from birth, and was in a UPC church until the age of 37. Now I attend a spirit filled church that has no denominal affiliation.

All the questions you ask prove my point, All those questions say look at me, understand me, how persecuted we are. The song does not shout from the mountain top the name of the Lord. It says we are pentecostal and this is whats great about that, not look upon Jesus and see his glory. Write the words down and read.

  • @sureshot7mag It's still just declaring what we believe. Why is that being boastful? I still don't get it.....

  • @Funnypandalonies I wrote down the words to the song and read them - something I suggest everyone do to understand - "baptized in Jesus name " and "we worship only one God" are the only references to what you believe that I found. But the crowd and the choir start worshipping when the singers start singing about "I've been known to get wild" and "rolling on the ground" and other things they have done. Anytime they need to recharge the crowd they go back to "I've been known to" self worship

  • @sureshot7mag The things they get judged for when people walk in to a church is exactly that, worshipping God in a loud manner. Basically describing how one worships God. You're missinterprating the song. I'm gonna have to say this though, I don't like the song. Not because of the lyrics, but because it's not new and truly pointless. But I see this same stuff in a rock concert as well.

  • @Funnypandalonies I'm all for exuberant or even wild worship. What I'm trying to get you to see is that the points in the song when worship reaches a frenzy is whenever they start singing about what THEY do and that there is little in this song to lift up God.

Many people say they love what they feel when they hear this song, but just because you feel something doesn't mean its of God. Satan loves to get our eyes off of God and on to us.

  • @sureshot7mag actually, I doubt it's "self worship" as you say it is. Some people don't listen to the lyrics and they just move to the music. You get a catchy tune fast beat, you'll get people dancin in the isles. And truthfully, they didn't really start worshipping until the first high note or shout was given. call it a pinical of the song. I've been in a church choir before, sometimes worship is choreographed to get people movin.

  • @Funnypandalonies Then what you're saying is that it is not really worship at all, but just a worked up frenzy similar to what you might find at a punk rock concert.

  • @sureshot7mag though they wouldn't agree, I would say so. I've seen that a couple times, where people were dancing and yelling in the isles of a church, but I absolutely did not feel the spirit of God present. But I can feel the spirit of God present at a christian Rock concert.....it's weird, but it's something that proves that the stereotyping purist christians within the church have, where music is concerned, is wrong.

  • @Funnypandalonies Very true, finally a level headed person. Also not every spirit that we feel that is exuberant is of God. Human spirits and even satan go to church.

  • @sureshot7mag btw, God can work in that "worked up frenzy" you speak of. I have seen that happen. It depends on the person and how they're worshipping. I don't mean to judge, but I have seen so many walk into church and practically over night dress and act like everyone else, the problem is deeper than that. I have seen fake worship, where people worship only for show mixed in with the real thing. Which is more important, image or spirit/appearance or heart?

  • @Funnypandalonies God can work in a bar or crack house too. He probably could even work while that song is being sung although I think He would probably choose to leave because God won't stand by while someone else is being worshipped.

  • @sureshot7mag I have to disagree. God is not going to stay in a house of sin. His spirit cannot abide the unholy. He might bring someone out of a crack house, but He is not going to stay in a bar or a crack house. His spirit will lead them out.

BTW, there are people in my apostolic pentecostal church who have been delivered, CURED, from alcohol, drugs, and other sins. There may be people there that are fake, but hypocrisy exists even within the church. That is Bible.

  • @sureshot7mag I'm a Pentecostal, I am not ashamed. It means we are not

ashamed of the pentecostal experience. Is that so hard to understand?

  • i love your worship. reminds me of the church i grew up in. nothing gets us oneness pentecostal more excited than singing about JESUS is his name, that we know HE IS ONE, and that it's clear when you read the book of Acts this is how they where. it's the greatest feeling being washed in Hi s blood!

  • take that and eat it devil!!!!!!!!!

  • Yes you should be proud of your religion and yes its a good thing.. Why do you go to church if your not proud of it? You need to do something about it.. Be happy because Jesus died on the cross for your sins and you can receive the Holy Ghost and have an experience beyond your imagination.

  • @justpooh40 Are you kidding, pride is one of the deadly sins. I'm not ashamed of Jesus or the church I attend, but your religion is idolatry.

  • I remember when every service was like this and now its like people are afraid to be like this now... Would be good if everyone got back to this.. I listened to this and boy what a blessing!

  • Are you saying its a good thing to be proud of your religion? i,m confused.

  • Yes the holyghost is Gods spirit but not a person... the son and holyghost is the one and only jesus christ...God in one...

  • Ummm God is bein worshipped...Pentecost started in acts and God spoke thru peter in the upper room. They r proud of their religion and r boastin in God....

  • All I'm going to say is one certain denomation can not get you to heaven but It can get you to hell We are suppose to be worshiping God not Denomations

  • @Gods54Girl Last time I checked, being a Pentecostal was not a denomination. It is an experience. The same one the followers of Christ had on the day of Pentecost, hence the name Pentecostal. If you have not had that experience, you should ask God for it. Just read Acts 2:38 and 39.

  • @wrweeks1234 I have received the Holy Ghost. I'm just thankful I worship a God not a religion

  • @Gods54Girl did you even listen to the words retard wow!!!!1 we worship only one god retard ,its not we worship our denomination wow ur really stupid

  • @ominub20 I would rather be righteous rather than religious. You will find that in James 1:26-27..

  • @Gods54Girl There is a way. This isn't about a denomination.....it's about an experience. On the Day of Pentecost, the Holy Ghost was poured out on all men. We call ourselves "pentecostal" because we believe the church should experience Pentecost on a personal basis. We call ourselves "apostolic" because we believe that the apostles doctrine is what the church is all about. The modern church has become whited sepulchres that have lost a sense of praise for God.

  • That's a sad commentary if this song is the definition of a true apostolic Pentecostal. The only thing I hear being worshipped is their religion. Shouldn't a worship song speak to God and about God and not we do this and we do that and that is our style.

  • @sureshot7mag I agree.

  • this song is the definition of a TRUE APOSTALIC/PENTECOSTAL and you have to be a tongue talkin crazy worshiper, who lets lose and lets God take control!!!!!!!!!! i say this with respect

  • What is it about this song that makes people start jumping and running around? I've listened several times but just don't get it.

  • Why would any one get offended at such power of the demenstration of the Holy Ghost? I love the song and the way they sing it.

  • Amen! I am Pentecost too, by experience just like they had in the Book of Acts! Glory, we should always praise God this way, It's not going to be quiet in heaven, we will be shouting and giving him the praise for all he has done! Keep praising him and never be ashamed of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ!

  • cfinn100-"There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." (Pro 14:12) My friend, I love you & appreciate your great love for God. I lovingly pray that the Lord will open your eyes because your interpretation of who God is very, very wrong.

  • According to Oneness Pentecostal belief, Jesus himself is the Father & The Holy Spirit. Every scripture you quoted to me was correct but your interpretations were doctrinally incorrect. One of the things that make Christianity different from a Christian cult is our understanding of the nature of God as shown throughout the bible.

  • A true Christian believes that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, God the Son, True God and True man, both fully divine and fully human. Jesus was born of a virgin and fully human in all respects, He suffered the pains and temptations of a mortal man, yet he did not sin. As fully God, he defeated death and rose to life again.

  • What you believe and the Trinity Doctrine are two different things here. What you have stated here proves you believe the very same thing I do. The Trinity states that the Father is separate from the Son and HG, the Son is separate from the Father and HG, and the HG is separate from the Father and Son. Basically 3 separate Gods in Unity. I'm Oneness, and I believe Jesus is God manifest in the flesh. The Holy Spirit is God because God is Holy and is a Spirit. He is also One.

  • As long as there are three separates gods/begins, that's paganism, not true Christianity.

There is ONLY ONE GOD. Jesus Christ of the New Testament is none other than Jehovah of the Old Testament.

God only changed His form from Spirit to man to gave His Life. Not three different persons but the SAME GOD!

Father, son and Holy Ghost are three TITLES pertain to this ONE true Living God of the Bible, and His Name is The Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Amen to that, royaleagle1961. The reality of the Trinity is that it is based on a Tritheism, which is defined as the belief of One God unified through 3 separate beings/persons/gods. The Doctrine of the Trinity is an assumption. The NT says Our Holy Father is God, and says Jesus is God, and Holy Spirit is God, so therefore these 3 are separate beings. I'm sorry but I don't believe in assumptions. I believe in facts, and the Bible strictly says God is ONE, and says Jesus is God manifest in flesh.

  • God raised him from the dead, He ascended to heaven, to the "right hand of God," and he will return again to fulfill the rest of Messianic prophecy such as the Resurrection of the dead, the Last Judgment and establishment of the physical Kingdom of God.

  • Christian cults ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS begin with an incorrect theology about the nature of God in the person of Jesus Christ. The Jehovahs Witnesses say that Jesus is Michael the archangel. The Mormons say that Jesus is the brother of all spirits born in heaven, including Lucifer, He was married and had wives, In Heaven, Jesus continues to be married to his wives.

  • In Scientology, Jesus is revealed to have been a pederast (a lover of boys) known for expressions of hatred and violent emotional outbursts. In Christian Science, Jesus is the divine manifestation of God, which comes to the flesh to destroy incarnate error. Jesus is completely divine and spiritual, but not material (which means that He doesnt possess a body).

  • Why is it that the theology of the nature of God in the person of Jesus Christ of the Oneness Pentecostal or United Pentecostal Church only exclusive to them alone and to no other mainline denomination of the Christian church? Does everyone have it all wrong about the nature of God in the person of Jesus Christ and the only ones who have it all right is the UPC?

  • @UncleBernie2 Tell me this....if they all got it right, why won't they be baptized

in the name of Jesus the way the Apostles baptized? Could it be they do not

understand the importance of the only name that brings salvation? I have

to say this, if JESUS is not God manifest in the flesh (1 Tim 3:16), then there's

a problem. Because He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Alpha and

Omega, the Beginning and the End......the I AM (John 8:58).

  • @pamelaparizo

I was an Apostolic Pentecostal & a member of the UPC for many years so I know what I'm talking about!

Baptism in "Jesus Name" is NOT where the problem begins. The problem is the misrepresentation of the TRUE nature of God! God DOES NOT present Himself in different MODES! (meaning God is 1 but Jesus can become the Father then becomes the Holy Spirit then becomes Jesus again) That teaching is RANK HERESY!

Also, if you want to get technical, is the name "Jesus" his TRUE Hebrew name?

  • If you say that IT IS WRONG for me to believe in the Trinitarian doctrine about the nature of God then I do not believe in the true God of the bible and I will go to hell when I die, just like the members of other Christian cults will.

  • But if you say that IT IS RIGHT for me to believe the way that I do about the Doctrine of the Trinity, along with your right to believe in the Oneness Pentecostal Doctrine, then you cant judge ANY Christian belief as being wrong. You must accept ALL Christian doctrines, cult or not!

  • I love you and I urge you to re-think the Oneness Pentecostal doctrines about God in the person of Jesus Christ because one of us does not believe in the true God of the bible and is going to hell when they die.

  • @UncleBernie2 I'm sorry, the Trinity doctrine goes against the very essence of

our faith in God, that HE is ONE. Shema Y'Israel, Adonai Elohim Adonai Eloheinu ECHAD.

Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is One Lord. NEVER EVER in the Bible is God called

three persons. That was not developed until 325 AD when philosophies and

vain deceits took over at Nicea. If you can show me where God is called the Holy Three,

then I'll believe in a Trinity.

  • The Mormons think only they are right, The Jehovahs Witnesses think that only they are right and Oneness Pentecostals think only they are right.I know because I use to be one and just like you, I knew that if they didnt believe in Jesus the way I was taught by the UPC to believe, they were all going to go to hell.

  • Like I said, I was in the UPC church for many years and I read a book called, Oneness Pentecostals & The Trinity by Gregory A. Boyd. Please read it. It helped me and I hope It will help you too. Please, in the spirit of humility & honest truth seeking, write to me again if you have any further questions. God bless.

  • What a mighty God we serve and his name is Jesus!! Glory the only one that Deserves the honor and Praise Jesus. God Bless you everybody!!

  • AMEN!!!

  • wow POWERFUL... i love this song, saludos desde México... THE POWER OF HOLY SPIRIT, FIREEEE

  • I am a witness of JESUS POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST. I WORSHIP ONLY ONE GOD AND JESUS IS HIS NAME. HE IS THE FATHER, SON & HOLY GHOST. (1 JOHN 5:7) (JOHN 10:30)

  • No....he's not. Jesus is not the Father, nor is he The Holy Spirit. I was an Apostolic Pentecostal for many years so I know what you will say. The bible shows us this...There is 1 God & God shows himself throughout the bible as The Father, The Son (Jesus) & The Holy Spirit & Those 3 are distinct. by saying the Father & The Holy Spirit is Jesus (The Son) is incorrect. ALL CULTS begin with a misunderstanding of the nature of God as represented by the bible.

  • You reckon John got it wrong when he said that the Father, Son & Holy Ghost are one? Or do you think that Jesus got it wrong when He said "I and my Father are one"? That's reading into it if one sees it different than what the word says about it.

Jesus told Philip he that hath seen me hath seen the Father (John 14 CH) That is very clear.

God is manifested in these three...but they are all one. Jesus said before Abraham..He was there. (John 8:58) Jesus was God in the Flesh.

  • I am a Jesus name believer...not a cult... cause the word tell me that whatsoever I do in words or deeds...do it all in the name of Jesus. (Colossians 3:17) All power has been given unto Him. God gave Him a name above every name. At the name of Jesus...every knee shall bow.

I grew up in a Petecostal church for years and did not want to hear this doctrines...but let me tell you something...when I started hungering and thirsting...God cleaned me up and filled me with the Holy Ghost.

  • Hi "UncleBernie2" now I'm Twoness, meaning I don't believe the Holy Ghost is a person. But I'm saved and have the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. I bet that really ruffles your feathers!

  • The Spirit of Jesus Christ is absolutely the SAME Spirit of Jehovah God of the Old Testament. Jesus is only the earthly body that God of the Bible dwell and manifested in human form, and Jesus is The Comforter, that's make all of them One, Same God, Same Spirit, not distinct different gods.

  • im pentecostal and aint ashamed.

    Holy Ghost filled. everything about

    me pentecostal! hallelujah!!

  • yep thats right im a pentecostal

baptised in jesus name and i am

    NOT ashamed.

    amen!

  • This is the best song ever wrote to break down this apostolic/pentecostal beliefs..which is true teaching bible beliefs.

  • I love this song and I miss services like this!

  • You can be a part of services like this.

  • If you miss it...I betcha there some services like this going on in your neck of the woods.

  • boy, I sure do miss good old services like this.

  • Wow they sing so good!!!!!!! I love this song!

  • What apostolic church do you go to?
