l am no royalist but if the BBC, ITN ect all had "breaking news " about Diana's death then they should have "breaking news" when any member of the British Armed Forces are killed in lran , Afganistan and now Libya , After all , these young men had to swear allegance to the Queen of England before joining her armed forces . They are as worthy, if not more , of any of the English Royal Family whose deaths would be "breaking news" in the media

Jeez In medieval times the royal family used to send soldiers out to all land owners and farmers etc and tax them and if they refused to pay they would kill them and burn there property down... and they still tax us now and live greedy rich lives!!! All you idiots should read english history books then you wouldnt think they were so great. I Laughed when i heard this news, its just a shame the rest dont die asap ....Fucking parasites!!!
Strange- I have different memories of what was shown of the crash that night - I was up with my son watching TV & heard the first report of the crash without pictures at about 2.15am then shortly after a newsflash with images of the car by the exit of the tunnel. The car was outside the tunnel and looked nothing like that mangled mess shown in reports of the event now. Princess Di was in the passenger seat looking shaken, but not seriously injured. I was shocked to hear she had died at abt. 5am
I remember being only 6 1/2 and confused about what happened. We had just taken a weekend road trip to our old house and this was on all American news stations. I had at first immaturely wanted to watch cartoons, but upon seeing it I became really petrified by the wreckage. For a long time I never sat in a Mercedes S-Class again or wanted to visit Paris. Being an English citizen, it hurt me to know that she knew my parents and had died so unfairly.
I was asleep on my mate's sofa that night and saw the breaking news reports. I woke up and walked the mile back to my parents' house (I was a student at the time and on summer holiday to wake them and tell them). As long as I live, I will know, not suspect, but KNOW there was something fishy went off in that tunnel. It was all far too convenient for the Windsors. Convenient too that al Fayed bungled the inquest with his outlandish claims and accusations. Diana was definately bumped off.
@gavinpow77 YES! @alunhughes147 No, really, when you sign up for war, you know you might get killed. You go to kill, you can get killed back.
For real.
