  • These beads are typically referred to as "Krobo" beads,after the Krobo region of Ghana.

  • Amazing video on how people want to be creative in such primitive conditions. They pound glass into enamel, then fuse beads in a kiln using stem of plant for hole. After fusing, they then come back and use enamel on bead for design and then refuse them. This way they can mass produce beads by using fusing method.
