I really dig this new Layton style, and yes I have played the last 4 games but this still looks very aesthetically pleasing and has that mix of cel shaded and animated graphics which I think is great. Always loved a good Poffesor Layton game can't wait for this later in the year :)

I don't care much for the 3d models. Yes, they look exactly like them, but they look a bit wonky.

I kinda wish they would of kept the drawn characters and had a layered 3d. (Or did 3d drawings. I'm pretty sure that would be difficult. But all I want is the speaking scenes.)

I don't mind the 3ds. I have one so I'm not complaining. People don't understand that the 3ds is more then just a 3d ds and progress is inevitable. I want this game to get here already D:

I'll probably make myself unpopular by this, but I really do like how they did the 3D characters. They managed to keep the quirky style, and transferred it pretty well to 3D(you have to admit, it's not as if they've made the characters unrecognisable. Perhaps a bit bobbleheaded). It reminds me of the graphics of the new Ghibli PS game. Actually, now I'm rather curious as to what Prof L vs. Ace Attorney is going to be like, they're bound to have made some improvements.

I'll buy it. But seriously, if it isn't broke, don't fix it. We LOVED the 2D anime-like graphics, that was one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back to buy another game.

Well mostly because of the story, but I seriously hoped to God that they wouldn't change anything since I knew that it would eventually go to 3DS. But they did. On one of the biggest and most memorable parts of Layton.

This game is proof that graphics don't make a game.

I always loved the German/European and Japanese influences on this game. Admittedly my favorite character has always been Stachenscarfen (whose name in German literally translates to "Mustache-scarf", so I hope he makes an appearance in this game too.
