In our community, if you don't call it when you're hit, then no one knows to stop shooting at you. And when you're getting lit up full auto with 0.25's at 350-400 fps, not being honest with you're hits only means you're going to get a lot more stinging welts.

ok i know that i will get rated bad for this but i am going to post this anyway. I don't know about you guys but i find paintballing alot more accurate. here is why. 1. the paintball guns go alot further and miss less. 2. you can feel when you get hit alot better then airsoft. 3. you can acutally (bad spelling ik) see when you hit them,because paint is left on. sure you can buy guns that look real in airsoft, but there are guns that take after real models in paintball.

You also have to take into consideration that Airsoft is cheaper... and it's a 'honour' sport.

e.g. an Airsoft Gun that can fire up to 50m'ish can cost about $100

but for a $100 PB gun, it can only get up to 20-25m...

But why should you care what they do? Everyone has an interest in different skirmishes whether it be Laser Tag, PB or Airsoft or something completely different.

1. airsoft is full auto and some guns can spit 30 bbs a sec. and u can get guns just as accurate

2. scientifically, airsoft hurts more, cuz theres more power focused on a smaller point, so if ur paintball gun hurts more either its gas is turned up all the way or the airsoft gun u got shot by is wimpy

3. u got me on the seeing part, but if u get hit in paintball ud probably get out even if theyr wasnt paint, if u wouldnt then ur a cheater

bb's mate. airsoft guns generally fire 6mm bb's (but can come in larger sizes and stuff...) and unlike paintball, leave no visible mark on the shot person. It's all down to honesty basically. Well that and you'll feel it if you get shot with one :P

Airsoft guns fire the bb's using air (coming from a compressed spring-manual or electric-or gas). Because you don't need a massive gas tank to fire them, the operation and look of the airsoft guns can be very accurate. Check out more on the net :)

If you're gonna get into airsoft, as a friendly warning, dont buy some gun from walmart or dick's, they are very bad and many people get turned away from airsoft when they buy some cheap gun and it shoots shitty and breaks and then deem airsoft as "Gay"

Any gun from Airsoft GI or Redwolf Airsoft that is $150+ should be good for a starter.

Only get a sniper rifle if you plan on putting a bunch of money (AT LEAST $150) for upgrades in it, because none of them are much more accurate than an average aeg unless you upgrade them.

If you are thinking about using that as your secondary and an AEG for you primary ( Like, ya know, being a field sniper) the I would recomend the AGM MP001, also called Bar 10, you can find it on AirsoftGI(dot)com. That is what I am going to use. get the fake wood version if it is gonna be a secondary though. If it is gonna be a primary then get the real wood (just looks better XD)

Most outdoor sites limit to 350 fps for fully automatic weapons

The guns are anywhere between 280 (gas pistols area and smaller weapons usualy) and 500 fps for bolt action sniper rifles (though semi auto ones are allowed they are rare)
