its not but there is a trick to it , u can call us and canada for free but when it comes to long distance thats when u need to have one at your house and one at their house they can call u and u can call them but on magic jack only, the bonus is they can call u on a regular phone or a cell phone but u cant it really sucks if you need to call long dis.
