It's a hammer on from the open string to the second fret.

If you look in the video, I pluck the open string, then immediately "hammer" down my finger on that same string on the second fret.

It sounds exactly right to me. I haven't studied any live footage of Beam playing this, so I'm not sure how he does it, but this sounds right to me.

@zildjianbronze yea it sounds right to me too, and the other tabs where a bit harder to play. on the ver i saw you have to pluck the a string and the e string at the same time and i got my fingers all mixed up. but thanks for this vid it helped me ALOT!

does it matter where you have capo?? you ahve it on 7th fret, some have it 6th, and I use it on 5th. lol??

If you care about it sounding like the original, yes it does matter. Otherwise it's just a matter of your preference!
