quite a lot of missiles to take out one ship, don't you think. I'd rather worry about their air force attacking the missile sites before I think of their navy.

@usarocks69 I just checked Wikipedia the free Encyclopedia and US ground forces where withdrawn in 1968 as part of the policy called: Vietnamization but fighting continued up to January 1973. Including 3 to 4 million Vietnamese from both sides, between 1.5 million Laotians and Cambodians and 58,159 US soldiers was the huge human cost in terms of fatalities. The only part I was wrong was: instead of 52,000 Americans dead it was 58,159.
