I must of missed this song, this is really cool I know the intro is from Rubina or Turkeyman, but the song its self has a nice touch. Ive felt like in past years Satriani has lost that feeling and melody that used to go into his music in the 80s and early 90s. Marketing your music to young rock geeks may ensure money and an immediate audience, but it I don't think it will really hold up in the end. I wish he would take his time releasing records and do it for the art not for contracts.

His phrasing, note choice, and composition is absolutely unrivaled in the field of instrumental rock guitar. As seen in this song, he does not have to play quickly at all, this is played slowly, and the song gets by on it's compositional value, not the technique of the guitar player. You could play this on any instrument and it would still be wonderful music.
