He is without doubt one of the best hip hop producers of all time. I honestly don't think its possible to refute that. As for his flow and lyrics I think he is unique and has improved, he is very good, excellent even but I don't think he is superior to Jay-Z or Eminem. As a producer though he is epic and a perfectionist. Also the best in the game at utilizing samples. I still think for sheer listenability he hasn't topped college dropout but tbh all his albums are worth getting

Just wanted to remind everyone again that Kanye West is a producer first and foremost. You may not like him (as I do) but you have to respect the sheer time and talent that went into producing an album as complex as, say Graduation. He also produced brilliant stuff on jay's blueprint and Black album before he was well known. And his has also gone on to produce two of Commons best albums - still while working on his own stuff. The amount of stuff he puts out is remarkable.
