This is testament to the absolute fucking brilliance of Oasis -- when a band's B-side song is better than the vast majority of band's singles.

The Masterplan could have been released as a regular album and no one would know the difference, it's that good.

Also, having seen Oasis five times in New York City since the mid-90s, this is one of my favorite songs to hear live.

Oasis is great, no doubt about it. I think the British Band since they come on the scene. However, don't underestmaite, the musicianship, writing, and influence of the Beatles. That would be a tall order indeed. Oasis is the only band to come close to reminding anyone of the Beatles. But in truth, they don't come close when you examine it. The Beatles, Micheal Jackson. They will always be iconic and stand the test of time. and in the latter's case the test of foolishness.
