It's nothing like the sims, except the character customization. The Sims is a Life Simulator. Home is a social simulator. In sims, you live day-to-day life, fulfilling basic needs like hunger and bladder. Home is different. There is no time, no needs, it's a entirely different concept than the Sims. For instance, you cannot build your own house, or make a family. You do social related activities, which are online, like chatting, bowling, inviting to your space, etc.
