There is a difference between what is legal and what is moral if the congress passed a law that it was ok for members of congress to strangle kittens for fun people would understand the difference. Just because they pass a law to say it's legal for them to use their office to corruptly obtain money doesn't make it moral and defending themselves by saying they did nothing illegal would be seen for what it is.

About one hour and eight minutes into the Senate hearing on insider trading . Robert Walker told congress why blind trusts are not a workable solution to insider trading. These kinds of trusts cost a lot of money. “They are only blind is so far as .. they are not blind what you put into them initially, they are only blind if you put in cash, or after a period of time the assets are sold down to a particular level, then you are notified that you do not have those any more.”

@rubbersole79 yep you're right m8 i also agree with jessie venture who says that if he were president he would get rid of retirement and pension funds at all. Simply because politicians are suppose to be serving our needs as citizens, its suppose to be a service/charity therefore no pension should be given to those who give their time. however now politics have been made into a carreer which in my opinion is very wrong.
