  • saw the fleshtones at least a down times in the early eighties----they were amazing

  • Oh, how I Loved, still love and will ever love this song - thanks so much!!!

  • who is responding under my youtube account? I'm confused.

  • I saw them a week ago and this song literally stunned me into happiness!!!!!

  • well they still play all the time, koenhead

  • @AdriaIvy Yeah, but they really make it within a state or two away. I did catch them here in Kansas City about two months ago. They played to only about 40 people on a Sunday Night before heading to South By Southwest in Austin, and they were, as always, incredible!

  • I have some Fleshtones rehearsal tapes for sale before they were known.

  • One of my favs.

  • i have bout 7 closing vids of them at Positively 4th street bar u need to see...

  • robert warren,bass

  • la primera cancion que compuso PETER ZAREMBA.....y una de mis favoritas, lastima por el video y el sonido......mr nobody

  • The Fleshtones masterstroke and one of the best rock and roll songs ever.

  • Rest in peace, sweet Rooster.

  • Roman Gods is their best album.

  • Absolutely agree. Now when is ANYONE going to have the cajones to rerelease it on CD. Also from IRS records, I would love to see DARK CONTINENT from Wall of Voodoo rereleased. IRS was one of the coolest labels ever!

  • One of my favourite tracks off all time.

  • Best live shows of all time.......

  • I've got some early albums - Roman Gods?. The riff and build up on The Dreg is mind boggling. Coldplay? Make me yawn!!!!!!

  • As good as it possibly gets. God bless the Fleshtones for keeping the spirit of rock and roll alive thru some pretty shitty decades for rock and roll!! Love 'em!

  • As you can see, The Fleshtones kicked more ass in two minutes than a handful of FALL OUT BOYS can in their whole career. Why aren't there bands like this anymore? Bands like this not only cared enough to entertain a crowd, they truly believed in the power of Rock & Roll. Seriously, would you rather see overrated bands like Radiohead and Coldplay over a band that could turn any club into the musical center of the universe? Man, young people really need a band like this today!

  • amen

  • @KoenHead Radiohead isn't a bad band they'r just a completley diffrent kind of music

  • @thisprovidence121

I like listening to Radiohead, don't get me wrong, but I saw 'em live twice and both times, they bored the bejesus outta me. Bands like The Fleshtones understand that the whole live music situation is an opportunity to put up or shut up. No posing, no cool affectations, just pure, kick-ass performance. They understand that a show can be entertaining and fun and best of all, show that they are no different then their audience. I don't get that vibe with Radiohead.
