It doesn't matter if Wolfenstein 3D is Highly Censored, its still the same game, its fun as hell! Doom SNES is NOT the worst port ever, its either the saturn or the 3DO version, the controls may be delayed for about less than half a second but its still playable, and did you say that doom SNES music suck as much the 32X version, I guess you don't know the difference between instruments and farting.
I think doom is a great game for snes. I have know idea why its hated so much! The game plays fine and the bloods still there. Sure the pc version is better but I would not know that cuz I never had a pc back then!
Actually outlier1985, if you played the sega saturn version of doom, you would know witch version is the worst, and yes he did review the GBA port of doom, it's just not on youtube, it's on revver. He gave the GBA port of doom a B btw.

As for the music... I have to disagree with you. From what I've heard, the SNES has the best music of any port I've personally heard. Even better than the PC version. People may disagree, but it honestly sounds the best to me on the SNES. Sure, everything ELSE sucks, but the music is solid.

They use a rendering method to SIMULATE 3D images. As for the SNES having the worst graphics of the ports... well, yeah. Doom was a 32-bit game, SNES was a 16-bit system. Of course something's going to be lost.
But THE WORST? Oh no... review the Gameboy Advance port of it, then tell us which one is the worst. XD
& as for the audio, I can't say much for the sound effects, but the music is the best I've personally heard from a Doom port. Even better than the PC version. People may disagree, but it sounds better to me.
They took out the nazis in wolfeinstein 3d because they got complaints and many people found it offensive and snes doom was considered the best music port of doom

This game has a supeior atmosphere and music to any other version hands down. The saving throughout the level isn't nescessary if you have skill. You start with all of your stuff; PC version deaths you respawn w/ nothing.

the 32x vesrion does have way beter and more audio then the snes version.

the 32x version has better graphics but incorrect textures.
the snes version has the richt textures but lacks textures on flours & ceilings.
the 32x version has smoother gameplay but bad control layouts.
the snes version has choppy gameplay but great button layouts.
they,re oppesite versions in their strengths and weakesses.

5 reasons why not snes doom sux
1.- red cartridge
2.- no cheats (for real man)
3.- got more levels than de 32x version
4.- got the music (the 32x version dont)
5.- . . . the pc version is better than bought so why bother
