I don't get it...Why post this video? The first Ogre on normal difficulty? Seriously? People post videos of soloing the High Dragon on Nightmare and you post this? This game manages to be difficult pretty much only on Nightmare difficulty and preferrably without potions.

Well done. That was pretty much my strategy. Paralyze for the win, except I didn't have the rogue destroying him like that, and the paralyze always drew too much aggro and he'd end up chasing the mage...but yea, something like what you did.

is this a cheat or something first of all i dont care abt the levels cuz theres a level up cheat befr this but hw th heck did u do enchantment at this moment. isnt this when ur given th task to light th beacon if yes thn its confusing.

@mahms012 One of the mages has a weapon flame enchantment spell that you activate and it's always one. Just take some time to consider your party member's skills. Unless you were a mage, in which case it might not have been available to you. I'm not sure how the game handles party set up in this section.

dude the choices are different.try playing the game for more than an hour before commenting.the game defenetly is one the best rpg's out for the PC.if you havent played dragon age till yet go get it or else jesus will not forgive you

@naccienac near collecting the dark spawnblood, you encounter a man with his dog, you have to muzzle his dog then he will ask if you can go get him a herb which will cure the dog of something (forgot) and during some battle (forgot again haha) you will see the dog running at you and it will be your new pet....unless you're a cat person XD

its not online, and to take him down use the hit and run theroy is how i did it and

Use the guard towers taunt ability, spread everyone out on the opposite side of the area with bows, then run the guard tower in circles, you can finish this boss without taking any damage easily.

nicely done! the first time I saw the ogre "finishing move" it was Alistair doing it, AND NOT MY GUY, grrrrrrr. And when i rocked the High Dragon, fucking Sten got to do the amazing finisher, I'M THE HERO HERE GUYS!!!!! but my glory was achieved in the deep roads when I brutally slew the Broodmother, it was a truly epic moment. If anyone has any fun or difficult dragon age origins experiences they would like to share tell me!!!!

Man, this fight was SOOO much harder for me when I did it. I actually beat it on my second try, but didn't save right after then my computer crashed and lost it. Then it took me like 6 more tries.

I had to kite him around the room endlessly while my other guys pinged away at him. Then when he aggro'd on someone new, I'd have to kite with them. I don't think I min-maxed my characters properly, or something.

You should download 1.01 patch, it easiers the game so much i thought i was playing on easy (i played at normal)

how do you kite?

When the bad guy locks on to one of your characters, just keep running around the room so he/she can't get hit. They will chase that character until another character draws the aggro away. Then you just kite with that character.

It's like running around with a flying kite that follows you, except the enemy is the kite.

Amen. It's so easy it should be criminal. It's bad mapping on the part of the enemy AI. They just follow you around like a sad lonely little puppy. That's itching to be put down.
