it's not a game error, in battle mode VS bosses it does that . it IS suppose to do that, i had chaos control during the game play VS bosses once i think it was against that huge monster with 1 eye and it did this , I'm sure it is suppose to do that

on every boss if you use chaos control it does this but it's supposed to invert colors. for some reason, it just doesn't invert the colors on this boss. pretty sure it's the only boss colors don't invert for some reason.

This is what usually happens when using Chaos Control vs. a boss. So there isn't anything special to see other than you're cheating ;)

That's how it's supposed to be in boss battles. The cheat for the AR is just to basicly give you infinite Hero gauge.

i played this game and something weird happends..... at multiplayer make sure player 2 smash things (do not him kill the alien) then player 1 can do chaos blast.find many things to destroy like boxes,glass,and more.

So Sonic Team attempted an experiment of changing the purpose of Chaos Control to slow down time, instead of stopping it?

It would've been impossible to get Chaos Control in that boss fight, unless by cheat or a bug.

Maybe in the long-run, Sonic Team wanted Shadow to seem more equal to Sonic. For Sonic does not use Chaos Control, but Time Break in Sonic and the Secret Rings. Just a theory.

CHaos SPear still exists in shadow the hedgehog and SOnic the hedgehog, it's modified.......the original version is still in shadow's arsenel, as shown in sonic X

To Ember: Yeah, that's the original purpose. But what he's showing is that the Chaos Control in the boss battle is apparently never supposed to happen, therefore the screen down go "negative". When you're fighting for the "Dark Side", you can only use "Chaos Blast" in a boss battle.

Are you asking if you have both bars full how do use one or the other? The game will pick which one is activated first so you have to wait until the chaos blast guage is empty to use chaos control.
