A very moving song... Living in Canada, all I get are the stories regarding Irak. Thomas's story is compelling. So much that it almost feels like the sixties could be back... Which would be a great thing; we need a kick in the balls or something to get us out of our cathartic state of mind. Eddie portrays that, and not by preaching but by acting. That's what in my mind makes him unique... well that and his voice!!

Honestly is there anyone out there in world music in the same league as Eddie Vedder?! The guy is just unbelievably good, which puts to shame some of the other dross put out by other artists.
