well, it is obvious that it is a revolution - it has everything that the regular textbook has, so I can't see how can it be worse. it defenetly is better, it has so much usefull stuff! I don't understand people who are always sceptical towards new technology... it's obvious how good it is!

About the question of the day......I feel that iBooks 2 really sucked, because, it will make students be distracted by the "safari" icon on their iPads......so, I think.......studying with papers is better.......

Yeah, I think textbooks on iPad would be great, however, the textbooks are like 1GB for every 2 chapters, so someone using the iPad for all of their textbooks would need the 64GB iPad.

As i said in one of your other vids, I think that this is a great upgrade for ibooks 2! Once they sign more publisher contracts and expand their textbook library, I thing it will be amazing, saving so much money in college!

I'm currently waiting out for the iPad 3, so I haven't been able to try Textbooks yet. It seems like something I would use to completely replace paper textbooks though, since it would make things more interesting and it would weigh waaaay less!

Additionally, iBooks Author claims to use the industry standard epub format, but then doesn't even have the option to export files in the actual epub format. Still love Apple, but sometimes they can be a butt. If Apple were to design a car, they'd weld the hood shut.

iBooks 2 cool, but iBooks Author software not cool. The user agreement virtually binds and gags textbook authors with it's restrictions to Apple's venue. It's outrageous.
