@nopember and Haiti was caused by HARRP!!!!! no ones got control of my mind...let the brainwashed stay brainwashed there easy to manipulate its fun once you figure out whats between every line
I'd call this one of the most important interviews to listen to anywhere. We'll never topple the current, corrupt political system until we fix the media problem.
The major networks (and cable news also, for that matter) are no longer about journalism. They are profit centers for corporations and their only goal is to get ratings. The truth be damned (or worse, ignored).
You want a good recent examploe of corporate broadcast redacting? The testimony of US Atty Genl Alberto Gonzales before the Waxman committee. If he was Bill Clinton's AG, that hearing would have been blasting on all news outlets gavel-to-gavel.
I work for a company called YESCO. They make digital billboards and our second biggest supplier of digital billboards is Clear Channel.
This man in the video knows his stuff though and it would be wise to listen to him about this stuff.
Clear Channel is HUGE! and they are only going to keep buying up more markets. Right now they own about 55 digital signs but we have a contract for another 100 signs to be built.
see john staubers book 'Toxic sludge is good for you'. I know many radio professionals who were put out.Once out you may never get back in,like black listing really.
Great video. I remember when news was presented to make you think, I miss that! I don't want to be swayed, entertained, or manipulated when getting my news. Where have all the good reporters gone?
i have been a news fan for many years. Recently i have turned to YouTube for a less controlled slant. It is almost as if "big news" seriously filters the news. It is almost as if big news has become a mouthpiece for a hierarchical version of what is happening. "We will decide what you need to know!" It is patriarchal and i would say contrary to truth. Let me just say that i do not like flush windblow a great deal.
this is great. media was less diverse when there were three television networks and three television news options. now that there are dozens, the only alternative is to turn to government controlled radio. because npr has no nationally distributed content. it would be interesting to do a side-by-side between clear channel, which only runs 1200 out of 13,000 stations, and npr.
This is the best analysis of the problem of the corporate-owned media and media consolidation in America.
I hadn't thought about the problem of the disappearance of local news reporters and the effect that will have on increasing corruption in local business and government.
Looks and sounds like Zach Braff.

you can only be "controlled" or "manipulated" if you accept the information as is.
if you watch the news or read the papers or blogs, etc. and accept it as true... that's your fault...
you can find the truth if you really want to.
