Possible? I'd say so. If electrical current is running to switches, if you complete the circuit with your finger, electrical current will run through your finger. The switches are covered with plastic, sure, but they're still switches.

My keyboard used to be really dirty, but after following the directions in this tutorial, it's much more comfortable to use. This works.
