I just hadn't watched season 2 yet when I posted that comment, that's why inwas confused about how the police knew he was alive when they thought the shapeshifter was him. An since the shapeshifter was dead. Therefore they thought dean was dead. So that's why I asked my question. :) but thank you for explaining.

@kymberly8michelle The police gets to know that Dean's still alive in episode 2.07. where he gets arrested for killing a woman, and "Folsom prison blues" is the second episode where Agent Hendrickson appears, who already knows that Dean's still alive and wants to charge him with murder ;)

he didn't "die" in season 1.....the FBI figured out that the shapeshifter wasn't Dean and continued the manhunt for him, which is how he ended up in prison this time, because he let them catch him........he doesn't officially "die" until the end of season 3, when the FBI agent lets Dean and Sam go and Lilith destroys the police station right after they leave........

Jensen has a longer straight nose. Strong wide jawline. Where as Jared has a shorter wide nose, slightly pointer chin. Smaller eye lid which makes his eyes look like he's squinting. Plus the mole on one side of his nose, which throws off the symmetry.
