The only downside i see is that there's no way that cowl is steel. I searched high and low for a 4" steel cowl and they only come in fiberglass unless it's custom fabricated.

That is one hell of a paint job... Very minimal if any orange-peal. If this camaro had the split bumper like the early 70's 2nd gen's then it would be A perfect car. I don't mind the rims, probably would go a different route though.

no offense but why on earth would you put those rims on such a nice car?! the rims are for black people, those rims are meant for big 'pimp-daddy' escelades/hummers etc. In rare cases you can put them on an older cadillac(if your black). but never muscle cars, thats like giving a baby a can of beer

Damn beautiful Camaro, my uncle in Canada had a 1979 he recently sold after 27 years of ownership. I would've had this car with a 2 1/2 inch cowl (if the motor would allow it) instead and maybe chrome C6 Corvette rims in 18x9.5 rims all the way around.

Oh why did my uncle in Canada sell his 1979 RS Camaro for??....had the car since 1982 and decided to part ways with it. It's so nice to see people still keeping the 1977-1981 body style alive by doing this type of resto-mod work. Everyone is too into the 1967-1969 body style, although they are nice, other generations came come to life and be twice as nice or better!.
