@jahforce7 The best practice you can get is just learning by ear! I know it sounds hard especially as a beginner - I've only recently started to properly give it a go but I wish I had started ages ago. It teaches you more than learning any tab will. Check out software like Capo (which is mac but I'm sure there's similar PC programmes) that lets you slow songs right down and isolate the bass without changing the pitch. Very useful! :)
Get a copy of Slo-mo director or Video Surgeon. These programs will let you slow down videos and loop the sections you want to learn. Video Surgeon will even let you zoom in on the hands so you can learn the finger positions.
Awesome play along. New bass? Flats or rounds?

very good, excellent, perfect execution.
Congratulations.
The bass sound is pretty much what pickup do you use?
I play in a reggae band, and I really enjoyed the tone, perfect.

I am a new bass player. I've been following your playing the best I can. Where can I locate bass tabs for the songs you play?
jahforce7 1 year ago
@jahforce7 I'd say Bassmasta. net is a pretty good place too start, but I don't think all of their tabs are 100% correct.
Good to hear you've still got the groove ALIINBASS!

@jahforce7 Sorry, I don't have the tabs for the bass... maybe you can find them on the net? Enjoy playing bass.
