I purchased an Elvis CD for my mother that was in a nursing rehab before she passed. This song was on the cd. I came to visit her the next day. She wrote on a piece of paper (because she had a trech in) for me to listen to this song. I listened to the song with her. We LOVED it! She would play the song over and over like a teenage girl listening to Elvis music. When she passed, I knew exactly what she would want written on her headstone.I'll hold you in my heart, till I can hold you in my arms"

I love the way Freddie puts so much emotion into his songs - just the way true country gold should be. This old classic is one of my all time favorites. It's been recorded by so many artists but Freddie just seems to make it his own. He is one of a kind and each time I listen to him I think of just how he has contributed so much to the music world. I love this wonderful old classic song and Freddie does it so special. His songs all sound like he is singing to only one deep love - no slipping around with someone else. I think many of us can identify with the songs about either a lost love or true love that lives on. Freddie knows how to make them all so believable . Thank you for posting. - Paula
