My prof was from Russian descent and he himself lectured us on Slavic origins being ancient. If you look at Hebrew and Aramaic, they have many phonetic and alphabetic similarities with old Slavonic.

Mesopotamian traces are found in Macedonia through archaeological artifacts and I can bet they were also found in the Macedonian region of today's Greece however never revealed to the public for the sake of maintaining the propaganda citing that everything is Greek. I have many Greek friends, most of which attended "Greek school" in their youth. Slavic is just a language, we use Slavic words but our speak structure is much more different than Russian for example. Bulgarians didn't invent the widely proposed Slavonic language, they acquired it by moving into that region thus the phonetic dialects were present there before their arrival.
My prof was from Russian descent and he himself lectured us on Slavic origins being ancient. If you look at Hebrew and Aramaic, they have many phonetic and alphabetic similarities with old Slavonic.

when i listen the people of the state north of greek macedonia, speak, i hear a slavic language. so what is the thesis? that alexander the great was speaking this language? the slavic people came so many centuries after.

The Macedonians in Greece are the ones that can read the ancient Macedonian inscriptions(GreeK). The Macedonians in Greece are the ones that uses the city names of the ancient MAcedonians ( Thessaloniki)
Then we also have a slavic minority. The ones that uses Bulgarian names (Solun) for Macedonian cities. They have a language that is based on Bulgarian dialect.

dude, from what I learned from history, Macedonians were under Ottoman occupation for 500 years prior to 1912. This occupation wasn't exactly a tea party and any educated bodies couldn't have written anything that would've had any international exposure. Let's not forget that the Great Powers muscled out the Ottomans/Turks from Greece 3/4 of a century before yet the Macedonian borders were left intact. If Macedonia was so Greek, why didn't the Great Powers liberate that land as well

Alexander was of illyrian descent..ancient macedonia was under illyrian influence..if you read the book by english historian Sir William Woodthorpe..you will see that his mother Olympia was albanian from epirus and his father philip was of illyrian descent...if the greeks hated alexander and his people then why do they know EMBRACE him as there own????
