@julesTEO it can be so much better, idk why doom has so many bad HD ports the most promising mod in my opinion was Doom reborn mod for doom3, why cant the doom community be as awesome as the duke3D community and update the original engine to be awesome like eduke32 x)
I've seen 4 popular "incarnations" of doom
1 the original, be it dosbox or a source port (like skulltag)
2 doomsday (although I've never gotten it to work like this)
3 bdoom (which adds extra frames of animation and better quality pictures for attack sprites, I.E. fire balls, bfg blast, etc)
doom 3 classic (a doom 3 mod that takes the levels from classic doom and reworks them into the doom 3 graphical design)
they're all pretty good but my favorite is bdoom.
