  • that was flying scotsman not this track

  • Awesome track!!!

  • Does anyone know where Mick Holland [the guitarist] is now? I last saw him in 1994...

  • thought his name was mick proctor

  • @wulleymunkee He's fine just left a message for him on Facebook, it is Procter lx

  • @umbrasilurum What was his name

  • @rad6666 I thought his name was Holland, but Proctor rings a bell. I knew and worked with him from about 1989 to 1993, but I don't have anything in my old address books and I lost touch with him a long time ago, more's the pity. If anyone knows where he is or what he's doing, I'd like to get in touch again and he was a brilliant guitarist, that's for sure.

  • @umbrasilurum Hey i love this band just wonderd if or when they called it a day? did they ever do anything after spear of destiny? i whould really appreciate if u cud give me some info man..

  • @TheSickboy8666 spear of destiny are playing at the leamington assembly rooms soon supporting stiff little fingers

  • @umbrasilurum I read guitarist Mick Procter is currently doing an album with NATO 8 which should be out start of next year.

I think the 'holland' bit was some kind of pseudo name he sometimes worked under

  • mickey anyone?

  • timeless classic that gains more appeal with the years.

  • Loved Theatre of Hate and Spear of Destiny. I saw them once in Amsterdam and they where great!!!

  • Got all the albums but never had the luck to see them, thanks .....

  • God I loved this band and its lead singer. I got a B for copying a picture of Kirk Brandon in my Art GCSE. Still listen to them and am now playing them to my 3 year old!!

  • Always loved this song, the fretless bass is also brilliantly played. A true goosebump song!!

  • Every time they played the Square in Harlow they were awesome and Kirk is a top bloke, very chatty with the fans and down to earth.

Great song , but i preferred the Album Religion.

  • Quite folky listening to it 20 years on.

    The endings brilliant .

  • Wow Youtube is great for looking up all this rare footage. I saw Spear in Bristol UK in the mid 80'S around the same time as New Model Army. What was strange is that I live in Australia where at the time I hadn't heard of them until I visited Bristol (my birth place) and got right into them. Great song! Ado

  • saw these at the manchester academy feb 2008 great band

  • love this song, remember seeing this on top of the pops, '87 i think. I guess for the time they were quite a weird band, now i've heard it again i'm gonna make it my mission to learn the guitar to it!

  • Thanks for posting this! I haven´t heard this song in ......... wow 20 years!

  • Amazing to see all these Spear videos up... last time I looked I could find nothing but that sodding PC game. These are fantastic, thanks for posting them up
