i sad is because i know i can take care him, coz i pet him over a month!! from a baby to a adult... he is becoming a adult! but all is too late! he sometimes don't know how to eat. everyday i feed him at morning, but just one day i wake up too late, he gone ~ =(
sorry about that, i know how it feel, coz my baby sparrow died a few months ago also. i hope god give you power to pet this new sparrow up! and start a happy new life with him!! before was my fault to cause my sparrow dead, i always regret about it. coz i sick that day, and i just sleep over whole morning. he died is because i wake up to0 late! even i heard his voice during i sleep. =( and when i wake up, i just can't stop to cry, and hold his dead body in my hand, i rather die instead of him.
I am totally jealous. My best friends are sparrows, but I seldom get to touch one, let along take care of it. In scientific terms, they are "Cuticus Patooticus" :) This is a TEXTBOOK example.
Sorry, too to hear of the lost sparrows. The last 2 sparrows I (almost) cared for were dead in the one case within minutes to unknown trauma, and in the latter, sadly, to my own attention, as he had been badly mauled by a Blue Jay and was beyond salvation. I live with the bittersweet, distant enjoyment and camaraderie of sparrows who enjoy a bread crumb, as I always carry bread these days. It makes me feel like a heavy hitter!
awwww so cute :D it reminds me of the sparrows around my house that I fed every year all the time with their babies, but all the trees were cut down 2 weeks ago before I got to see the new babies fly :(
