To the people watching these videos.. Why are you all putting yourselves through this? It took me fucking 10 years to over come my eating disorder and I'm still starving to this day. It's not worth it in the end. I'm gonna be posting a video of what I went through and I have a little motivational video up but I'm going to create a proper one soon if you want to watch. Don't do this to yourselves. You're all such beautiful people. Ye don't need to do this. Not spamming. Genuinely want to help
"Most people exercise to keep those extra pounds at bay..."
I wish most people set performance related goals, as opposed to goals that are only focused on aesthetics. I feel much more fulfilled and satisfied with my body now that I aim for being able to get stronger (squat 2x bodyweight, etc.) instead of trying to be X number of pounds.
@juicyjujubean14 I have EDNOS (eating disorder not otherwise specified). Im recovering from episodes of binging and purging but restricting too. Im in between anorexia and bulimia... and it sucks too
@makemeskinny3 ah i so feel your pain, i do the binge and purge cycle all the time! ive never told ANYONE before so i cant really recover :/ im 15, how old are you??
Really, thin is the way to be. The media knows it. You know it (but try to deny it) and the enlightened ones know it.
While society will come to the aid of a nice, fit, thin girl...the same cannot be said for a healthy/chubby/chunky/heavy/tubby girl. Nobody likes a whale :p
@09tranm I'm a recovered exercise & purging bulimic, ya know, it's an illness. 3 hours a day: normal for some? Yes. Absolutely. Normal when you're eating under 400 calories a day: NO absolutely not. This is why it's so dangerous. Too much exercise when you are not eating hardly at all causes electrolyte imbalances, protein, potassium and iron deficiencies, anemia and amenorrhea. It's dangerous. and that is why it's too much.
Hey, I am really not trying to sound racist or mean. I swear. I am married to a white man myself. But...is it only white women who go crazy with these eating disorders? We have all seen the skinny African kids in Ethiopia and Sudan, but they are actually STARVING people with no food to eat or not enough. You know these people featured here have the means to buy decent quality foods. Plus, I see in my neighborhood white women who are just skin and bones, exercising so hard. What is the issue?
@tribunalfunk The "but there are starving kids in Africa!" refrain is a familiar one to anyone who's had an eating disorder. No, EDs don't just affect white women. If you're really interested in learning more, I recommend Lauren Greenfield's film and book THIN. Joan Jacobs Brumberg has written some really insightful books about EDs as well.
ajandlady- I think compulsive exercise is just that but actual exercise bulimia is meant to be when someone is binging and the exercise is the purging
I'm 5'2 and I weigh 125-129 pounds. (you can look at my page picture),
And you're in luck because there ARE tips to weight loss.
You may not like the tips, but honestly The absolute best way to lose weight is not fast, There are no fast ways, and if you try to do a fast way you will wreck yourself.
You need to get your mind strong and stop looking for an easy way out. If you want something in this world you have to sacrifice.
you gotta push yourself beyond your limits and you gotta stop feeling pity for yourself. Only YOU can control what you eat, and only YOU can choose to work out.
If you want it you need to let your actions speak for themselves.
It all starts and ends in the mind. You need to become love mates with Pain and adore every last characteristic because what you think you hate is really what you need to make you who Y O U want to be.
@BinkieMcFartnuggets I'm not arguing with you but exercise bulimia is not just about overexercising - the exercise is a way of purging calories that are eaten during binges.
Overexercising on its own is just compulsive exercise or exercise addiction.
she looks 10 times healthier now than she did in the picture, shes really strong

heavynsad 2 years ago
cut to healthy weight loss. it is a long process if you want to do it healthy way...you need to exercise and eat a normal amount of food
PanicGrl 2 years ago
if it was quick, it wouldnt be a permanent or lasting weight loss =/
