  • 7 ppl dont like to here real music

  • can someone tell me what he played at the end of the solo sounds beautiful!!!

  • he looks like jesus!

  • beautiful.

  • I don`t care if it`s 240p, 360p or 720p as long as it sounds fucking great!

  • 240p i see we meet again >.<

  • foda demais, demais, demais!

  • who the hell would dislike this

  • @RKane447 7 people aint broken???

  • if tim minchin had a lip ring....lol

  • Seether and Alice in Chains; the reason I play music.

  • I'm not broken.

    But I'm broke.

  • that guy kinda creeps me out no offense

  • I hate how people keep bringing Nirvana into a Seether video. Yes Nirvana is a good band but this is Seether! Im tired of going to seether videos and seeing stuff about nirvana and kurt on them. Shaun is not and will never be kurt. Theyre two different genres. Just because they both have raspy voices doesnt mean to go bomb seether videos with nirvana stuff. Seether for life!

  • I love this. I just now found this song today. I don't like the one with that chick singing. I love this one. It is perfect. I think I am in love with the singer. LOL

  • I dedicate this song to Troy Anthony Davis.

  • Seether and Staind are the greatest unplugged bands.

  • @TheBugbugbugbugbug Staind? no fucking way. Alice in chains and Nirvana are the best unplugged bands. EVER. check out AIC's unplugged songs.

  • @TheBugbugbugbugbug I agree to Seether, not so sure about Staind though. To each their own :).

  • I prefer it without Amy Lee.

  • saw them 3times ... amazing everytime.

i saw them play this w/ lizzy from halestorm and it was so incredible

one of the greatest songs ever wrote.

  • I saw Seether, I need to see them again!

  • seether is my favorite band from South Africa this song makes me feel better whenever Iam deprssed like right now.

  • oh que buen tema

  • gotta love the pain in his voice.

  • очки ннннада?

  • shaun is look like mark morton for me lol

  • this is mine and my gfs song :) its amazing :)

  • God he's so talented. They're all so good.

  • Comment removed

  • i tried to emulate his voice.. had a sore throat in the morning.. ahahaha

  • i love seether!!!!!!! <3

    he's such an amazing singer

  • amazing!!! :) i don´t know much of this band yet but they´re awesome!! he reminds me a lot of kurt cobain!

does anybody know what guitar is shaun playing?? his and the thrid one? :) i love themmm

  • I don't care how many times I've heard this song! It will always be one of my all time favs!

  • woooooowwwwww this song i awsome

  • i like it better when he just sings it, this is not a duet kind of song

  • aww, i miss Amy. but this song is still AMAZING. <3

  • its crazy these guys are from South Africa

  • @doodlin17 omg I know!! on my channel I just posted a cool interview and their voices whe they talk you can sooo tell :) Shauns speaking voice is nothing like his singing voice... i love both ;)

  • I SOOOOO love the acoustic versions and always have --- can't wait to see them in May I'm curious if they'll be playing their new country album or alot of the old w/some new?? LOVE SEETHER.. LOVE SHAUN.. if I have to..I'll love 1 ONE Country band! but thats it..one! ........... them :)

  • @MrsHolliValo You can check out vids on youtube of their most recent shows (Bogart's in Cincinnati is an

awesome one!) & I think you will be pleasantly surprised to know that Seether is not "going country". they

were only paying their respect to the city & people of Nashville where they recorded "Holding Onto Strings",

as the people were all very nice & hospitable & welcoming to this group of guys whose appearance, music

tattoos, piercings, etc was all so different from the C/W scene.

  • @Elizabeth22413 Thanks so much 4 writing. how cool of them to do that.!!!.. shows yet again just how pure &real they are I absolutely love them. When Shauns brother commited suicide I was sooo dying inside. I walked in @ age 9 w/my parents 2 see my grandpa had blown his head off..suicide for me is so real...I wanted to be able 2 hug Shaun so bad. When he made the video I could not have been more proud of anyone on earth. I pray I can see them in MI or WI Im going 2watch Cincinati now! thanks!

  • @MrsHolliValo I am so very sorry for your loss! My son & I also walked into the scene at my mother-in-law's

house where my husband had just blown out throat with a shotgun & I will never, ever forget the horror of it,

nor will my son. Seether's music has really helped us to vent some of those emotions & I am so grateful for

that--I too grieved when Shaun's brother committed suicide, because until (God forbid) one goes through it

    one cannot fathom the suffering!

  • @Elizabeth22413 I'm soooo sorry you have lived the same horror. I know for me, seeing skull pieces stuck in the wall IN it..and sooooooooooooooo much blood! I didn't understand at 1st that the little pieces of stuff everywhere was brain until I overheard everyone after they ordered us upstairs. We could hear everyword from the heat vents. @ 1st it was just us then until the rest of the family showed up after phone calls then all hell broke loose! Being 9& seeing your grandpa headless is insane!

  • Continued... :) I have healed from it &my mom 20yrs L8R if its mentioned she blows up. I understand him now too. My son died& seeing my baby (he was going on2 & died from SIDS) in a coffin made me lose my mind. I was young, 20& engaged 2my same BF since we were 13, I left him& became a heroin addict. I wanted to die, &attempted suicide I died for 2 min 17seconds &woke up pissed off in a hosp. they put me in a psycheward after detox& gave me antidepressants I'm 7yrs clean & happy I'm alive <3 :D

  • @MrsHolliValo OMG I am so sorry you had to see that @ such a young age--same for my son, seeing his

Dad's blood all over the outside of the porch & bits & pieces splattered all over the driveway, on the lawn

furniture & the window behind which he was sitting blown out, with pieces of the screen twisted & blood-

stained . . . Well, I don't think either one of will ever completely recover! I am so sorry for your loss & just

typing this is making tears come again!

  • @Elizabeth22413 <3 (HUG) Tears are healing :) I found when I cry really hard & hurt so bad that it takes everything out of me until I feel like I can't move. I can finally rest. That sucks your son had 2C it 2! My brother& I were horrified it was wild. Skull stuck right into the WALL! I didnt think our relatives were going 2be able 2clean iyt! Screaming everywhere. I actually the next day was scrubbing the floor with a wire brush, soap&bleach! was a trip!! I wrote a poem im going2 pm it to you

  • @MrsHolliValo see you soon sweetheart!!!!

  • @MrsHolliValo Cont'd: the screen behind which he had been sitting was blown out & twisted, with globs of

flesh, brains & hair--a truly horrific sight! I don't think either one of us will ever fully recover from that awful

day! The autopsy/ toxicology results that I insisted on showed that my husband's blood alcohol content was

more than 3X over what would be considered "impaired".Just reading your account & now typing this is making the tears come again! I will say a prayer for you!

  • @Elizabeth22413 I agree that the sight will never leave anyones mind who's witnessed it w/their own eyes. I still remember it exactly. When it comes out, like if on the news someone did that I remember, but I keep it out of my minds eye as much as I can. That mess no one on earth should ever have2 go through! It made me stronger when I was getting clean, thinking I never want2 put my family through that. My grandpa was drunk too. Kiitos for the prayers <3 I will be praying for you& your son 2 xo

  • @MrsHolliValo OMG, I am so very sorry that you had to see & experience all that @ such a young age--

about the same age as my son when we went to my mother-in-law's house in response to an urgent

call about an "emergency" involving my husband (who was drinking heavily on top of his prescription pain

    killers). My mother-in-law wanted to punish me for what had happened & that was her way of achieving that;

my son & I arrived to see blood all over the lawn furniture, splattered on the driveway &

  • Keep pressing F13

    Thumbs up if you looked

  • My girl loves it when i play this song for her on guitar!

  • amazing acoustic show.. BTW I like the chix @ 4:10.... pretty.

  • I wanted you to know, that I love the way you laugh.. <3

    LOVE SEETHER..

  • Seether is just amazing, Shaun puts all his emotions into these songs, with out Seether I wouldn't of made it throught some tough day's for me, I am so happy I ordered this CD/DvD combo pack, on ebay..I use music to express my feelings and thoughts because I can't ever get MY point across to most people, n it does no good explaining, it's great that Seether can just be so normal most bands are stuck up but Shaun and the crew are nice guys who make amazing music enjoy today every one,.

  • I like that little "thank you" at the end. lol

  • great acoustic show

  • ok something extremely ironic just happened i went to the link that he has in the discription and it says this link is broken

  • @HardcoreRocker1990 thats nor irony

  • my all time favorite version of this song

  • A touch a Neil Young here. Lacks originality though .... mmmmmm - with Amy Lee however I might have given it another listen ....

  • i've always loved this song. long live seether :)

  • I love this song ..

  • Yes is Great i like it!!

  • I can see this as a love song or a song expressing being lonely after a loved one passes away. I think sometimes when he sings this song he must think of his brother that commited suicide a few years back.

  • i dont see any broken acoustic

  • Una canción preciosa y me encanta cuando la canta a duo con Amy Lee

  • Awesome voice!! wooow!

  • I think thats gooder without Amy LEe :D :D

  • Hey we play our own acoustic songs in Nirvana(Seether/AIC style.Feel free to check us out.

Its worth for all the non haters ;)

    peace

  • Its not as good without amy lee

  • @gayco1 i agree.

  • nice songs dudes.

  • I don´t dissagree with the fact that GNR are more popular, but that doesnt mean that everybody loves them more. GNR are not a big hit anymore. Seether is.

  • I ♥ you Shaun Morgan!

  • Something about Shaun Morgan's voice and the intro to this song just makes me fuckin' melt. Seether is so amazing. Saw them @ Rockfest 2010!

  • cause im broken. thats true to. i am broken. :( :( :(

  • @paintmask you should die for that comment

  • I think that he does it better without Amy Lee, I think she was just there because its a love song.

  • This guy could so do a decent cover of Glycerine by Bush.

  • cheaters! its not acoustic on electric bass... Lol ohwheliLOVEitanyway♥

  • Live??? Amazing.... This is what you pay to see when you fork out big bucks.

  • awwe this is mine and my babys song :) too bad he left me a week ago :'(

  • aww im sorry :( you'll find someone wayy better!!!

  • muito foda *-*

  • of all the bands why did they copy the bullshit nirvana, bands like this makes me wanna take a shit, nothing special, bar band, they will never become immortal like aerosmith or GNR.....

  • @MrPinaka

Wow, that was probably the most conceited comment I've heard in my life. Why don't you get your motherfucking ass back on the banana boat and stick a dick up your ass while your at it. Fuckin duster.

  • @MrPinaka

wow you really must be fucking dumb. seether is better than aerosmith or GNR by longshot asshole.

  • @PurPleJokeR94 lol How can u say that Seether is better than Guns N roses dude. He's good, but u must think rationally. Guns n roses were the biggest rock n roll hit since led zeppelin. U can't possibly deny the fact that Seether is nowhere close to Guns n roses even by popularity, let alone the quality of music. Like I said,I like Seether, but he's not as good as GNR or Aerosmith.Plus Shaun is like Axl.But Axl isnt GNR. Slash,Axl,Duff,Izzy and Steven are,If u understand what i mean. =)

  • amazing masculine voice! AMAZING SONG! AMAZING ATMOSPHERE! AMAZING AMAZING!

  • Seether is that shit acoustic, Im glad amys not singin this one.. i like it when shaun does it better..!

  • haha i was witing for amy to come outt no where

  • I love seether. I love nirvana. that's it

  • @schoolagain

Its in this songs when we can remember that Nirvana legacy its not dead.

  • @schoolagain I'm with you.... they both have given us everything they have inside their souls that we can identify with--no ones better or worse, 2 great f-ing gifts Im greatful for <3

  • seether iis the best ooooooooooooooook

  • i love watchin shaun sing this song. he puts so much emotion into it by his facial expresions, it kinda makes it seem like u can connect with him in a way. i like it better with amy lee tho.lol.

  • yeah, i agree, it's better version than this with amy lee.

  • @DaRkEnXheartX I love this wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than w/Amy! :)

  • Did cynical just say " liked these guys better WHEN THEY WERE NIRVANA " ???????????????????

  • he didnt mean it literally....

  • wat r u saying....they were nirvana...wtf! seether...was at first saron gas! and then changed to SEETHER and this is their original song!!

  • Attention nitwits... it was a sarcastic observation. Learn to read for context. You can't possibly be that dumb can you? I know full-well they are not Nirvana nor ever were... they however wear their influences HEAVILY on their sleeves and one of them is obviously Nirvana. Simpletons, all of you...

  • I liked these guys better when they were Nirvana, lol. Seether is good... they just wear their influences HEAVILY on their sleeves, so it can be kinda distracting at times That's just being honest. I like em nonetheless..

  • these guys were never nirvana...........kurt died drumer started foo fighters not to sure wut happen to other member but these guys were never nirvana.....dumbass

This will be re-posted for effect.

  • That's what happens with youtubers, they read HALF of your comment only to make an ass out of themselves.

Just proves that most of the world is indeed stupid, and that profound intelligence is nothing to overlook.

  • kudos to mr.i am genius and the world is stupid

  • Why, thank you.

  • A genius would use better grammar, even when surrounded by fools. But a lot of the world is stupid.

  • Muy buen tema.... Pulgar hacia arriba, jejeeje

  • Dammit boy that is soem amazing playing!!!!

  • never knew who did this song and this version is amazing!!!! learning it now on guitar

  • Yea....I know this feeling to well..........

  • Damn! I Love This Version Of Broken... Thnxs For Postin M8 ...scout

  • I must have heard this a zillion times but its still amazing...his voice is so perfect for this..

  • same as it always is dude, this isnt EVH, its Seether, they dont need 5 minute vitruoso solos to sound awesome, specially not in the middle of an acoustic set

  • !T WAS GOOD.!

  • veeery goood ! ;D

  • Parábens

  • this sounded like studio it was so good

  • this is the bestttt song from seether, besides Carless Whisper (: Shaun Morgan is HOTT

  • love it (:

  • I love this song so much, I can't stop listening to this acoustic version tbh :)

  • seether sounds great live

  • Seether is SO COOL! love this song :)

  • shaun is so HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Shaun is one of the few famous singers that can sing good live and also he don't mess up the song like other singers, he's freaking sweet

  • hell yeahhh

  • I`m really down now! I just only wanna kill myself somehow! I`m sorry about that I wrote this on this page, but, I had to...

  • I'm completely in love with this song...

  • really good song when your down

  • This song is just great. In my current mood, there's no song makes me feel more understood. Maybe Sone Sour's version of 'Wicked Game'...weird, unknown feelings towards a girl who does not have similar feelings for me...it is exhausting and sick, but I unfortuneatly cannot let go of thoughts about her...

Does anybody know the acoustic guitar chords? I cannot find the right ones( e and C? Does not sound right...), but I really want to play it.

  • It is Eminor and C, but its tuned down half a step..

  • Its weird, Shaun is like a slightly fatter Kurt Cobain with lip rings.

Their voices sound alike and both bands are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ...but Shaun is a much better musician than Kurt was.

  • I'm sorry but I have to disagree.

I do not wish to argue over this silly subject that is a matter of opinion. I think we can both agree that Shaun and Kurt are and were both great artists.

  • kurt was better..

  • make's me so sad. reminds me of a big decision i don't want to make because i'm afraid either way someone will get hurt : (

  • what kind of? if that doesnt disturb you!

  • thats what i am in as of now.

  • His voice is really awesome.

  • I disagree. I feel the duet they did was epicly epic.

  • i like the acoustic version of this song a lot better than the regular

  • i dont think she ruined it

admittedly the version with only seether is much better

but its nice to have another version of it

  • it's not technically acoustic because of the bass... but i agree that this version is better.

  • yess I totaly agree with you. I love the acoustic guitar's sound

  • Fantastic :)

it sounds better without Amy Lee, honestly. I love his voice.

  • kinda reminds me of Staind.....

    great song!

  • pimp

  • greatest band in the world!!!

  • No his voice is unique has a grunge and ballad sound, sounds tight ,not like puddle of mudd his voice breaks alot.

  • Are you serious that his voice is different? I was at Edgefest and had Puddle of Mudd and Seether cover a Nirvana song. You couldn't tell there were two singers, and both of them sounded EXACTLY like Kurt.

  • Comment removed

  • you should train you musical hearing when you think that way.

  • i ♥ Seether!

  • I like this song with out amy lee for the fact when her n shaun broke up she went and did call me when your sober wich is about shaun... like come on thats low he never did that to her he was the one helping her with her career

  • i think his voice kinda sounds like kurt colbain, does any one agree?

  • i do.
