  • that camera make the inside of the bus look decent

  • @Barnosaur I'd love to shoot a music video or something inside one of the old rickety Arran busses, it would have such atmosphere.

  • Really like the shot of you at the top celebrating arms outstretched. And I think your sentiments of discovering the good things about where you live are very true. The point of view shots worked the best as these were very natural. You have quite an angular face and because you weren't looking directly centre camera this gave your film a very different spin. It was both jarring and also engaging at the same time.

  • Lovely film, excellent effort indeed.

  • This is wonderful. So different to the day we filmed for Britain in a Day, and yet so familiar. My granny lived in Sannox (she's now buried in the graveyard on the way up to Glen Sannox) and it was really lovely to see those mountains and your enjoyment of them. Have such fond memories of family walks there, and you shared the experience so well. Thank you.

  • @pipbest Two of my grandparents are also buried there and a couple of other relatives. It's a small world.

  • @HamishIanFinlay Isn't it brilliant that new technology allows us to make a connection to relatives who may have shared histories, my great-gran and grandad there too. Strange side effect of Britain in a Day :)

  • I did something similar, instead of a great Scottish mountain I went up steps in a gorge in Shropshire! Great video, enjoyed watching your footage!
