  • Come on guys. We obviously have different views on this one, but if you want to use this as a wayto slag people and nations off, do it elsewhere, please.

  • My english is quite fine, I'm not an Italian (even if I was,it wouldn't mean all your bullshit about average level in english are correct , so who's the arrogant?) you little insignificant Belgian piece of shit!

  • @pagrati007 - what a jerk you are, man, I'm not even Belgian. Having a good laugh thanks, and it does show how pathetic you are. You're English is average at best, and do yourself a favour: get some decent lessons and train your ear. You cannot even understand half of what an English native speaker can hear.

But thanks for the good laugh, you should join a circus

  • Gahan bácsi azt sem tudja hol van karantén miatt! :-)

  • I think he said "Good eveningg ' Wroma' or ' Wromo' (he's English, what do you want?, Italians say "Londra" instead "London")

Are you member of the "North League?

  • Wroma or Wromo???lol

I think you should definitely check your ears Lady ( no offense;)). He clearly said "good evening Milano". Thing is, you , Romans, are arrogant enough to deny the obvious, just to defend your beloved city. He said Milano, why can't you accept it and move on, it's not a big deal after all. It was just a mistake for Christ's sake. Truth is, what Gahan said is an indirect insult for you Romans because it is well known the complex you have towards Milan.

    I'm not a Leghista.

  • I'm not a Roman, not even an Italian, but if you think he said 'good evening Milan', then you clearly need a new set of ears.

  • lol

I didn't say he said "good evening Milan" but "good evening Milano", which makes a big difference. How can you deny that is beyond me. And let's pretend that the "Mi" part of Milano is not that clear, the "lano" part is crystal as water...lol. And the names Roma and Milano have no sound similarities at all.

Gahan messed it up and infact lots of Roman DM fans have already admitted it in various forums.

Anyway, i'm definitely happy with my ears. I can still trust'em 100%.

  • I guess we shall have to agree to disagree. Sure sounds like Rome (no O at the end at all) to me on both my audio and video footage.

as I said before though, many Italians said the same thing in 2006, and I can only come to the same conclusion as I do now.

Can't imagine Dave making the same 'mistake' 2 tours running, especially after being in the city for 2 days prior to the gig.

He did also say Roma twice during the gig too.

  • Ha ha ha, Gahan said "Good evening Milano"!!!!!!! LOL

They're in Rome instead! Poor Rome , always under Milan's shadow. Gahan 's getting too old to remember where he is lol.

Anyway, the Milan concert was vastly superior to Rome's, as always.

  • People said that Dave said 'Good evening Milan' when in Rome in 2006. I still don't hear it and he certainly said Rome with a twist this time round too.

Can't comment on Milan but thoroughly enjoyed the Rome gig.

  • I can't speak about 2006, but this time Dave certainly made that mistake, which is widely documentated in 013 DM forums by lots of honest Romans and by your video (3:51). Then, you have the usual "jackasses" like Giacomo who will defend the undefendable till their last breath, providing all kinds of excuses (the one with his brit friend was quite laughable).

Anyway, Rome's gig was good, never said the opposite. It's just that Milan is a better and a far more important venue.

  • 'and by your video (3:51).'

'Good evening Rome' Honestly, its as clear as day and if he said that in Milan, what would people say then? That he said 'Good evening Rome'?

For me, Rome was a last minute decision to go to that gig because I couldn't get a ticket for Berlin. Was offered a free ticket to go the Milan gig too but unfortunately, I couldn't make it. Wish I had, but thats life.

  • This not me creating any conspiracies mate. I've seen your video, heard what Gahan said and commented it. Simple as that. I would have said the same thing if this "accident" had happened in Milan.

If you ask me I think Rome is a far better gig than any German gig. I've seen DM in Germany 2 times in the past and I must admit both gigs were quite disappointing. Very static audience. Italians are more creative as a croud and respond to the songs better.

  • As for Germany, yeah, had 5 experiences there. Dusseldorfs crowd in 2006 was dreadful bur Cologne in 2001 (second night in particular) were fantastic.

I think a lot of it depends where you are in the venue, but Dusseldorf 06, even in teh thick of it, was very average at best.

Reminded me of too many London gigs LOL

  • Can you?

Guess you can't man. Motr1912 is from England; you're from Italy and your English is average at best (sorry if it hurts, but truth sometimes does hurt).

Who cares what other Italian fans acknowledged, it doesn't mean a thing. I checked with some English native speakers (the only ones you can really trust 100%) just to be sure. Guess what? They wouldn't even believe someone could think Gahan said Milano.

Make yourself a favour; get some English lesson. Your arrogance is pretty pathetic

  • Well done! :-)

    And I love this song!
