  • What a kick ass drum solo...Jay you rock! I just met the brothers in Ohio in Dec. 2011..went to 3 shows in 2 day . They were all very nice...Let me get my picture with all of them...It's now blown up on my wall. Wow what performers..There is a reason they've been in the business for 50 years. As always, Jay give it his all here.

  • Jay was always my favorite Osmond! I did get a chance to meet him in Utah at the Osmond studios....I believe I was an insane mess when I did!

  • I love Jay singing more leads. Only seems to happen when Jimmy's not performing with them. Perhaps they can make it more equal - share!

  • Thank You!! This was so much fun watching. Gotta love them drums!!

  • His Double Bass ish soooo Freaking Awesome!!!!!!! Woot Go Jay!!!!!!<3

  • Love this tribute to Jay, drummers are the best! Just returned from Branson and the Osmond Brothers are still amazing and I can't wait to go back. Such a thrill to see them in person. Thanks for posting this, I just found it the other day.

  • Oh yes! Roll on July!

  • jay iis such a great entertainer and drummer

  • Jay you are an amazing singer/drummer entertainer.

  • When I went to Shiloh in June 2009 I not only go to meet my babe Merrill but I also met Jay - WOW what an awesome person so 'real'. Two Osmonds for the price of one - a deal in anyone's language LOL.

  • (girl squeal) He's gotta be the sexist man on the planet! :THUD:

  • I think I'm the only one to Notice that Jay seems to be the Only Osmond who Plays Drums!!!!!!!

  • Merrill was a very accomplished drummer too. He often played the drums for Crazy Horses live as Jay sung lead ont hat song.

  • I've never seen a Pair of Drumsticks in Merrils Hands! Thats Cool

  • A lot of the brothers play drums. I know, beside Jay, Wayne, Merrill, and Jimmy can play but Jay's the best of course.

  • Check out Jay's site for info on his NEW SOLO CD. It looks amazing, and the front photo is PERFECT.

  • @wowzieee Straight to the Wal-Mart bargain bin.

  • Thanks for this tribute to Jay and the tribute to Wayne. They are 2 of the "unsung" Osmonds! I know there are lots of videos of him, but did you think about doing a video focusing on Merrill? That would be great too! Thanks for posting.

  • Love it!!

    Jay's my favorite Osmond

Thank you so much for posting this!

  • Very nice tribute to Jay....thank you for posting! I have always thought Jay has a fabulous voice and should have been featured more often singing the lead in some of their songs. Maybe Jay should consider coming out with another solo CD (after his re-release of "It's About Time II", of course!)......I think he would also be great on "Dancing with the Stars!!!! Thanks again for posting!!

  • Hey thanks for your comment. I edited this video highlighting Jay for exactly those reasons, now there are two of us with the same vision. Let's hope more people leave a comment to encourage his solo CD release and book in 2010.
