He is our holy lord and he always knows best. If there is pain along the way you must remember god is still there and this pain is healing you. What I'm trying to say is trust god with all your heart,soul, and mind because even though it is hard to realize it god is always healing you.

Hi Guys,

If there is no pain, there is no change in our behavior (if we say we have no sin, then we are fools, and the truth is not in us). I have found over my 50+ years that pain is the way, the method, of refining me into HIS child. He takes my 'old Adam' painfully out of my grip so He can cover me with his saving grace, and make me new. That's why we need to rejoice when we encounter pain and troubles in our lives. I have lost 3 grandfathers and a nephew and an uncle and 2 teenage boys that meant the world to me! Even though I have gone through this I know god is with me and that he sent his son for us! I have turned to God for all my problems! I also had to deal with my dad having shoulder and BRAIN surgery! But with God at the center of our lives we have been able to get through! Weird analogy- i wandered off the path into darkness. Blindly, I fell & broke my leg.

wow. talk about bullet into the center of my heart, exactly where i'm at right now. But i guess if bullets are supposed to bring pain- in a weird way, that matches this song. facing the truth hurts. accepting it hurts even more- but what hurts the most is admitting, & telling it to others.

but as bad as that is, as long as it lasts- it IS the only way to live fully, to love fully, to be fulfilled. It's not over & it won't happen over time. healing takes years, even a lifetime. But it's freedom.

It's amazing how God uses pain in our lives to reveal things to us and show us greater things about Him. Sometimes suffering is an eye-opener to us, because when all is going well, we're not willing to listen. When there's no other way out but to look to God, we are open to what he has to say to us, even if it hurts. Because after all the pain is said and done, we look back and give thanks to God for showing us his greatness and light in a time of darkness and suffering.

This is my favorite band.

Not just because of the music, or that they are good looking or anything.

But that they are the kind of Christian band that flat out shows how much they love God, love others, and want to show others just how much God loves them too. You guys are very inspiring!

This is so true. It's weird how well meant phrases that Christians will use like "it's OK to bring your pain to God" can actually twist our understanding of our relationship to God. We try to hide our pain and frustration with God, but shouldn't we bring that out in the open to him? It's not like he doesn't know it already, but our relationship with him will deteriorate if we don't come to him about our weaknesses and every silly or serious flaw.Thanks for all your videos! They help me so much!
