A long time ago I heard at church that your gut feeling is not what you want to do but what God wants you to do. He makes things work according to his law and uses people like so fallible or righteous. Though the Roman church translated the original Greek and Hebrew languages to Latin it was during the Reformation when protestants rallied against the Roman church and ordered to translate the Bible in a language people can understand. But this was a very meticulous process.

Just a suggestion. There are good videos here in Youtube that explains these. I have placed some in my playlist. Translations aren't really a problem as it were during the 16th century. Catholics are not limited to Latin Bible anymore and have used todays universal English language to most of their Bibles. Even so, how can a person still have the problem of not understanding? Its all been done for us, its just up to us if we actually read the Bible rather than discredit it all the time.

I remember seeing this in the web categorized in a literature list dubbed the "Unfilmables" which included, back then, the Lord of the Rings books.
