55 Gallon Freshwater Angels, Gourami, Tetras

If you don't mind me asking, what lighting are you using? I am wanting to setup my 55g in a similar light, and I am having a terrible time deciding on lighting, but I love yours

@gavinistheawesomest I don't really recall. It's just a standard light that you can get at local pet stores. This tank has been sold and I haven't had it in a few years, but I still enjoy this video of my cat.

How big of a tank? Anything above a 29g and I think you'll be fine.

I've got a 55 gallon too btw. Gouramis, tiger barbs, neons, and plenty of ghost shrimp.

Barbs and angels isnt the greatest combination. Barbs bites in the angelfishs finns.

What did you use for the black background?

I tried to use some posterboard and you could clearly tell it was cheap posterboard lol. Got a background from the store now :/

I really like your driftwood. I need to get a big one in the center like that. So expensive though.

you should also add more peacefull cichlids like rams theyd look nice in there cool tank

I actually did. Both Gouramis up and died about 2 months ago, both within 24 hours of each other and both without any other symptoms/signs. I added a mated pair of German Blue Rams. I'm still waiting to see if any of the angels pair up and I will remove the other two.
