  • i have one of those. it's in my left arm but it's a lot smaller. it hurts every day and even more when someone hit's it and i can't turn my wrist like my normal right arm. but i am getting treatments and i am also looked after with care. i am getting another treatment soon so i hope it gets even smaller!!!

  • I can totally relate to this guy. I have lived with a venous malformation all of my life. Mine is located on the right side of my face; however, after many procedures under the care of Dr. Alejandro Berenstein and Dr. Milton Waner at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital in NYC, the malformation has shrunk extensively. I know, God worked through these doctors and their teams to heal me, and to Him, I give all the glory.

  • hope you get well soon and i know the pain because my cousin in vietnam has the same thing just alot smaller

  • I have a VM just like him on my arm and I don't know how i could handle it on my face. He is so brave and it touches me so much. I'm getting sclerotherapy soon and i really hope he gets the procedures he needs. (:

  • I hope his dream comes true and people accept him from the inside and not the out

  • I feel for him because I have the same kind of malformation on my face on the same side as his, right under my eye, but mine is 12 times smaller. Mine causes me pain and migraines very regularly. I can only imagine how painful it is for him every day. I hope that his surgeries go well. Feel better little dude!

  • he's a very sweet boy. I hope all goes well for him. :)

  • "My biggest dream is to be a regular kid"

This is where my eyes watered up.

  • He is such an adorable and bright young boy. He brings tears in my eyes because you can you see the kindness in his hearts shines through :"D

  • Man, i wish to best for him.

  • Poor kid, he so strong though, I hope he becomes a professional soccer player if thats what he aspires to be (I'm assuming from the begining of the video) . His parents are the best

  • hope your dream comes true

  • i feel bad for the kid ):

  • LMAO CAPTION FAIL!

  • can't it be cured...

  • @madzane94 Yes with multiple treatments I think they can remove "some" of the veins not all though

  • damn... poor kid...

  • poor kid...i wish i had the power to just like touch his face and heal him.

  • LIKE JESUS. kidding/

  • i've never heard of this before, but it sounds treatable. Granted, he wont be perfectly normally formed, but i think that doctors could definitely lessen the size.

  • @briantexts wtf? dude are u a homo? or a perv? she is a fucking kid u fat fucken prick dude go get a life fat fucken prick dude i bet u are fucken gay and like sucking guys balls u fucken perv

  • @briantexts wtf? dude are u a homo? or a perv? she is a fucking kid u fat fucken prick dude go get a life fat fucken prick dude i bet u are fucken gay and like sucking guys balls u fucken perv

  • What if they were to put his blood on a pump that bypasses his face, cut his face open, and let the excess blood drain out, and then hive him blood from a donor?

  • You lack what we call "human empathy", don't you?

  • You lack what we call "human empathy", don't you?

Don't say "If I were him", because his state is unimaginable.

Don't be such a dick about it.

  • He seems like a normal kid, except for his deformation, he deserves much much better

  • Hot sister.

  • Say something constructive.

  • Agreed O.o

  • @briantexts what the fuck? are you a pedophile?

  • :( thats sad

  • Get well soon Son. :)

  • You lack what we call "human empathy", don't you?

  • god such strength in that boy I sure hope his wish is granted

  • Gotta give this kid alotta credit for handling his condition so well. Brave boy to say the least. God willing a solution is found for him.

  • @ropeadope87 Dont Bring up GOD. this didnt happen because of a invisible creator that doesnt even help our species, really doesnt do anything.

He will be lucky when the Super Advanced medical procedures remove the veins from his cheek and realign his jaw so he can breath normally and eat normally and lock normal as well

  • @rysliv I really don't see why you have to get upset over what I said. By saying I hope God helps is my way of wishing this child the best. I also hope that medicine advances soon enough for this condition. In no way did I impose my beliefs on you. Hopefully, you wont be this rude and close-minded to others in the future. Wishing you the best in your future endeavors, God bless :)

  • @ropeadope87 Sorry i have some sort of problem with religiousness. i try to stop but it just gets to me i guess

  • Comment removed

  • @ropeadope87 why do people always say brave?there just living there lives like they would be if they were normal

  • whoa that's sux

  • Wow, I would have no idea how to approach this. You would think you would just be able to remove the affected tissue that contain the malformed veins, but if it's affected the facial muscles it gets more complicated. New capillaries will form but how would you drain the blood? The skeletal and overall aesthetic reconstruction is the easy part. I hope and pray the doctors will figure a way to stop the malformation and give this sweet boy the normal life he rightfully deserves.

  • Your'e a tough kid.

  • damn

  • I am vietnamese and when i went to vietnam and met all my cousins, two have birth defects, and theres a lot of people with birth defects and a lot of kids like this in vietnam, its almost common, which is really sad, must be all the agent orange that was used during the war

  • get well sweet kid

  • This is such an odd mutation.

Reconstructive surgery is easy afterwards.... but the whole closing off the veins in the enlarged area...... you're stuck between pinching them off and then not getting blood glow or have them enlarge to really cause serious breathing problems....

I would have have no idea what to do.

  • Aww<3 I hope he gets the treatment he deserves. Cute little guy.

  • He should drink alkaline ionized water

  • What? Why not leeches?

  • so he's an orphan b/c his parent left him b/c of the dieases?? THATS FUCKED UP!

  • @GlobalAndy well it happens in a lot of asian countries... medical cost is too high (esp for surgery) and sadly, most parents think that the kid is going to be a financial burden.

  • i feel bad 4 him :(((((( POOR KID

  • i've heard that sometimes to drain blood from a swollen area in the body doctors use leeches, called medicinal leeches, maybe this could be the case and used reconstructive surgery to fix and mold the bones of his jaw and face...

  • aw =/

hope all goes well for him.

  • @emoxblackeye it's an asian name, in case you're culturally blind. i guess they didn't change the name they called him at the orphanage. to you it might look stupid but in vietnam son might be a normal name.

  • @emoxblackeye

... his name is from another language. I'm sure they were not taking the English language into consideration ... so it's not dumb, just an interesting coincidence .. try not to be so limited in your thinking. "lol"

  • too sad

  • godbless him and hope e recovers

  • Good Luck To You SON. Hope All your dreams come true in the near future.

  • his dream is very sad.

  • hoping for the best for this kid. it seems that today in our world...if something's physically wrong or different about people we are quick to judge them and say they're different...therefore they're weird or gross. I have a sister with minor down syndrome...not saying it's the same as this situation...but people constantly look at her like she's an alien and have this look on their face...wishing this kid the best!

  • it will get better for this kid.... he has a big future ahead of him

  • What a sweet little boy I wish him the best

  • poor kid :(

  • I do hope that our technology can make his dream happen. He's had a rough start on life.

  • hitler hated the english and the french!!!

  • poor kid, hope the help he gets works

  • then who would make ur overly-paid-for plastic, cancer, causing, going-to-wear-out-in-a-few-months shoes that u seem to love so much?

  • theres no reason to hate asians i mean everybody are created equal ....and dont just hate becuz were asian...

  • @xtremixt1 wow you love sucking hitler's cock huh?

14/88 is your new sex position with hitler.

and i bet you love licking nazis' feet

oh yeah and your comment doesen't make you bad ass

it makes you seem like you are in a Gay relationship with Hitler

People like you give the Whites' a bad reputation

Go learn some history because "" your life is equal to that of the bottom dirty of my shoes... ""

  • @xtremixt1 your stupid. i bet you have bad teeth.and no higher than a sixth grade education. do you have sex with your cousin? your not white, your white trash.your not part of my race idiot.

  • sad..hope he gets well..

  • i hope he will recover soon.

  • siemens lol

  • this was probably an effect of radiation but then again it would leave a tumor. so many many questions so little time. i wish the best for his young soul.

  • i feel so lucky...god bless this kid

  • i feel sad..:(

  • his parents are so nice. at least Canada has a good healthcare system and the surgery will all be free for his family... i've seen numerous cases like this in various shows and they were mostly from canada.... his parents seemed to have adopted other asian children too. ^^

  • I hope the treatment works for him. Would love to see him make a full recovery.

  • you are quite the heartless jerk aren't you?

  • @xtremixt1

he may Look like he is retarded (in your opinion),

    but You really Are retarded.

  • no, but you have a small penis, so I guess thats just as bad

  • vietnam war side effect?,,, thats what it looks like...

  • @torzidotwisted i agree :-(

  • @dragonstyle79 yup... ive seen some crazy ass pictures of kids that are till this day being born with deformaties...

  • O_O

  • Broke my heart watching this. Thank you Walter family for taking him in and giving him a chance to be a regular kid. I hope his surgeries go/went well. <3

  • i hope the doctors can fix this kid. pretty sad.

  • OW, just OW.

  • Hope the best for that kid.

  • Texas Toast for breakfast?!?! AWESOME!!

  • @VC0L either you view it as them exploiting him or they are raising awareness of the poor kids condition so that people are more educated and understand

also raised awareness could mean further research

  • "raise awareness" is making more money for NationalGeographic, I would "raise awareness" too if I could get some cash.

  • wow i feel sooo bad for this poor boy.....he will never know what its like to just be normal atleast hes in a nice home with a wonderful foster mom

  • HEY! QUESTION. Can't they just remove those veins? D:

  • @Feilanna No, I don't think so, if they could, they would have already. The veins carry blood, so if they tried to removed them he'd bleed to death.

  • Well, modern medicine is ever-exapanding, so maybe sometime in the future he will be able to function normally via a surgery.

  • @Feilanna Yes, Lets hope so.

  • If they remove the veins, he'll probably end up bleeding to death.

The veins carry way too much blood, so removing it would be the wrong thing to do.

  • Hope they fix you up soon, Son. Stay strong.

  • i almost cried watching this, god bless those canadians for giving him a home!!!!!!

hope for the best for the kid. hopefully he'll be able to live a normal life

  • he has such a cute personality!

  • Poor kid I hope he gets his wish but to me he is a normal kid.

  • poor kid, must be hard...

  • How we take things we have for granted...

  • damn... life is SO unfair!

  • That's veryy sad... poor kid

  • this is sad :(

  • I felt really bad when he said "I kinda... feel bad about it"

    that was really sad

  • I wonder did Agent Orange play any role in this condition. I doubt this is completely random.

  • As Arny would say "It's not a tuma."

  • can he ever be cured?

  • i feel rlly bad for him, but i hope he lives a long and happy life

  • poor guy

  • wegular kid

  • You're an ass.

You're certainly not a regular kid.

  • What an adorable family. I have so much respect for people who adopt underprivileged children.

  • It's a Vietnamese name.

  • Comment removed

  • You lack feelings.

    Douchebag.

  • this is sad :( the woman that takes care of him is good person

  • This kid really got some courage and hope. because since i have the same kind of condition as him except just not that so noticable. This kid really just made me feel lucky that my condition isn't as worst than her. Strong kid..... he's so happy and everything

  • omg

  • @spagia1 cause the world is cruel unfortunatley...science is cruel.

  • poor kid :(

  • Poor kid ]=

  • poor kid :,(

  • damn, poor kid

who knows how much ridicule hes had to endure already from that

i guess its not all bad, as its made him a really kind and modest little guy

  • its going to be worse as it grows and chokes him.

  • eek...an average fight would kill him. i hope he stays mellow, cause yeah, bullying exists.

  • omg i feel so sad for that poor kid D:

  • Bless him

  • ....life is so fawked up..

  • The family caring for this boy is proof that

everything eventually is going to be OK for him.

  • Is it a tumor?

  • man. This poor kid, I can't imagine his life. Im truly happy his life is looking up however theres got to be something to help his condition. That vascular network however is amazingly large. I don't think they discussed possibility of stroke or aneurysm however, wouldn't that be a considerable possibility with the swelling and pressure in the veins.

  • its sad this kid caNT fucking help it so dont make fun of him u souless sick basterds

  • Hang in there Son!

  • im usually a blackhearted person and this has been the only kid that i have felt bad for. i hope everything works out out for this kid
