  • This song is basically about true love. It seems to refer to a relationship that is weakening because they're afraid to share their deepest thoughts and feelings, and instead keep it to themselves (We're fighting for ourselves, fighting for our lives) And he is asking to abandon this fear, and is desperate to make things better. (I want to see us work dear.) So "Let me see the world behind your eyes" means essentially, let me know how you're feeling, I want to be there for you. How's that? ^.^

  • no no he didnt leave switchfoot they're still together thank god =] but he does do his own music sometimes and sometimes with other guys rather then switchfoot but Switchfoot is definetly still together and lets hope they never seperate bc that would be the worst day os my life

  • Well, Jon once sad in an interview, that there are times when he's writing one song a day for one or two months ... that's a lot of material and switchfoot can't do all these songs ... so he desided to give a few songs a new home!
