Do they even make Celicas any more? I've had a CeLIca, and two SuBArus. (Yes, in New Zeland and Germany, they say 'suBAru"... But then in NZ, the singer Shanice is known as "SHANis"-to-rhyme-with-Janice)
I can't really remember the exact years but I think that the '00 to '02 Celica GT-S's have an 8400 rpm redline and the rest of the years have a 7800 rpm I think. '03 to 05 have a drive-by-wire throttle too.
00 and 01 were identical with the 8400 fuel cut. 02, 04, 05 had the 7800 fuel cut. 00-02 were cable driven while 03-05 were DBW. So if you want speed get a 00 or 01. Good luck.
anyone knows where can I find this add in .avi format, with better resolution and quality? (no, I don't want to convert it from youtube, I want a better quality/resolution one)
yea thats true i have an alltrac and the performance shop i go 2 the guy i know is phillipino and he says my car different to..but he talks good english its just when he calls to order parts for my car
Kinda like in Colorado, around the Durango area, there are a few places with "Florida" in the name. But they pronouce it "FloREEDa." *laughs* Go figure.
Awesome commercial. 2ZZ revving sounds s*ck! Reminds me of Toyota's great days when they made exciting and sporty cars. Today they have next to nothing in terms of exciting and adrenaline junkie focused cars.
Oh man, I remember this ad, it aired in movie theaters here for months, one time my uncle said "Someone tell this idiot he's in neutral" and we all cracked up
Japanese say Seleeca, they actually can't say Sellika (asked 2 Japanese fellas from work at Honda). So once again, the American's say it wrong - sorry guys, but you're speaking ENGLISH so us from the UK have the right to say that you're saying things incorrectly and don't know how to spell).
Yeah I found it funny on a video where an American guy called it a Sellika - I guess it's just what you're used to. In the UK it's "seleeca" as you said.
I miss my Celica, and it was only a GT but it was a great car... Too bad times were tough and had to get rid of it :'(
