  • You know the scary part.....I worked with a couple of guys just like Bunk and McNulty.....one is dead now-line of duty on a warrant. The other one made his 30 and moved back home to Georgia.

So here is to two of of the best men ever to wear the badge. Det. Lawrence and Det. Fuentes.

They made me a good cop and even better friends.

  • I would LOVE to get fucked up with these two characters...

  • @BAGAKOOS Liar. Mcnulty is fine.

  • where is this from? i know it wasnt in an actual episode

  • @correll28 It's from the Wire Prequels, which are basically online mini-episodes that give a little background info on the characters..

  • god mcnulty is so fuckin ugly he has black circles for eyes

  • mcnutty lol

  • Would love to go on a nite out with those crazy fuckos.

  • @chump5874 Has the makings of the best night out ever.

  • lmao

  • does bunk ever actually smoke his cigar

  • @nosequiters He does, but as you may know, you can't smoke inside buildings, especially government owned buildings. He smokes his cigar when he's outside.

  • lol why was mcnulty looking around like that

  • @r2kool4u- before showing up at city homicide, McNulty had 4 years at the Western District, and a couple of years in escape and apprehension. His date of entry is April 5th, 1994... which would make his 13 years around the 2007 mark.

thats what he and bunk are talking about at the :45 second mark... easy fact to miss.

I just got finished watching the entire series a second time.... it's amazing of all of the stuff I missed the first time around.

  • @brentskeen Yer man I'm on season 4 it's like I'm watching a new series lol

  • So at the end of the 5th season, when McNulty is on the pool table, Landsman says it has been a great 13 years. If this is based in 2000 and he just joined the force then that means season 5 is based in 2013. Huh....

  • 1:53 "oh no you did not"

  • Oh Cole, always a fuck up...

At least we have to thank him for giving us McNulty in Homicide, though.

  • 2:16 he rips one LMAO

  • Comment removed

  • What a shitty little short, especially with McNulty getting out the Jamesons after only a minute. But I suppose they only do these scenes for fun

  • The Bunk: "I'm just a humble muthafucka with a big ass dick."

Freeman: "You give yourself too much credit."

The Bunk: "You're right, I ain't that humble."

  • I miss this show, man. It was beautiful.

  • jimmy made bunk an alcoholic LOL

  • @supaFLYcc

    no.. not at all

they just had that aspect in common which is why they became so close

  • Awesome..

  • Wait a second.. Where the hell did these prequels come from? The sure as hell weren't part of the series were they?

  • @86london they were released on HBO on Demand right before the 5th season premiered.

  • So, even Rawls has been a Lt. Good to know.

  • @Glorenzelg1

yeah you don't start at the top of the chain of command moron

unless you become the president or something

  • @gauchebag mister douchebag, I was just noticing the hellacious fact that even this particular guy, who actually starts the series as the major of the homicide division, also had to kiss someone's shoes in order to climb up the ladder. In fact, that isn't true. This is one of those moments I call IRONY, and if your sorry ass doesn't know what that is ... well, get yourself a dictionary. People in the USA generally know what it is.

  • Comment removed

  • @gauchebag you can call it poetic, shameful, cruel, whatever adjective you see fit, but it's still ironic. You know what they say? "As you would have people do to you, do to them; and what you dislike to be done to you, don't do to them." - maybe you don't see it. I find it ironic because Carv (one of the most mature characters by the end of the season, no doubt) is so pathetic in the beginning of the series that you wouldn't think that he would end up with the rank that Rawls had.

  • @gauchebag they're indeed so different but they're linked by this rank both achieved at some point. Well, this is just me, I find it poetic. Other than that I'd like to apologise for my manners the other day. Didn't mean to be rude.

  • Good scene...wrong date

  • 'Negro please!" hilarious

  • @talavera715 Pretty sure he says "amigo"... Even a plastered McNulty acknowledges some limits!

  • @turricaned

    Yep..he says "Amigo".

  • The Wire and Homicide LOTS were the best T.V. programs EVAH!!! Bring 'em back!

  • "The Bunk? Sloppy? Motherfucker c'mere..."

  • This is a prequel. HBO released three prequels, one about Prop Joe, this, and another about young Omar. They are all available on youtube, just search them up. This wasn't brought up on television as far as I know. It's just a insight plus into these characters life and background.

  • You happy now bitch

  • where is this scene taken from?

  • What the fuck did I do?

  • A match made in Heaven...

  • Comment removed

  • fu*k mcnitly

  • ohhh jimmy....remind me of my husband

  • @buyong77 Alcoholic, farting malaysian???

  • Jimmy McFuckingNulty...NATURAL PO-LICE.

  • The fuck did I do?

  • You happy now, bitch?

  • damn they should put the prequels on season 5 dvd regular boxset

  • whats with everyone watching the wire at the same time!? finished 10 min ago. bunk and jimmy especially but all the wire characters are epic

  • Yeah.. It was love at first sight for the Bunk and McNUTTY. gotta love these two!!

  • hey can anyone tell me where these prequels come from?

  • @leedriver10 The preqeuls are included on the Season 5 DVD. They originally aired on HBO as a promo for season 5.

  • 1:50 Bunk - "Motherfucker says what?!"

  • and so began the greatest love affair of the 21st century

  • " Buy me a drink you whore "

  • I loved the show, but their constant drunk-driving and constant committing of adultery is really bad. Hopefully people that watch the show realize this and don't duplicate it.

  • @bigleroygym ..Golly, hopefully they wont!...Gee, maybe if they watch the show they wont duplicate dealing heroin and coke..and committing a murder or two...Ohh boy.

  • @bigleroygym fiction=//=reality

  • @bigleroygym those 'people' u refer to would be mindless twats who should to be castrated immediately. honestly if u drink drive and commit adultery because a TV show showed it.... u must be close to the retard threshold.

  • @Mitan650

U sound like a despicable person. The obvious point i was making is that when the good guys in a TV show are constantly driving drunk, it helps to lessen the seriousness of the consequences of drunk-driving. An episode in which Bunk or McNally were at least arrested for driving drunk would have been a good thing. In case u didn't know, it is a huge problem in this country.

  • @bigleroygym The show wasnt about good impressions, it was about reality. They were "Good guys" in one sense, but even "good guys" do retarded shit.

Also, its realistic. Cops are always driving loaded. A patrol cop is not gunna bust a detective on a DUI.

If anyone forumulates the consequences of drinking and driving around "the wire" theyre a goon.

  • one smokes,

    the other drinks.

    And then they both drink.

    Can't throw stones I guess.

  • where do these come from and how many are there

  • @TheLSparrow

These were on the Wire Season 5 DVD - there are three, including this. The others are here on youtube - one of Omar as a kid and one of Prop Joe. Look at the right, and they should appear.

  • This here is my part'na - Bunk Moorland

    Negro pleease!- Jimmy Mcnulty

  • @thecalistallion

Thanks for the transcript, had no idea what they ware saying.

And BTW IT'S MORELAND, NOT MOORLAND, YOU BLASPHEMER

  • the beginning of a true bromance

  • @shavanga

YOU WIN ALL THE INTERNETS. . .

    . . . ALL OF THEM DAMNIT!!!!!

  • @spicmanz Jameson, Irish Whiskey.

  • the fuck are they drinking?

and for you clit necks, i know what but what type

  • I cant get over the accent!

  • Comment removed

  • Lol Baltimore PD...never change.

  • Is this supposed to be found on the Season 5 DVD set? I got the box set but can't find any of the prequels on disc 4. Just the documentaries. Am I missing features?

  • @acountddd They were cameo's for the show after season 3. They were television broadcasts on HBO I believe.

  • poor bunk never got any pussy, mcnulty was mashin all over the place. so they should of let the bunk get poompoom at least once.

  • @slimithy12

bunk got some too.. remember the shoes scenes

  • @ZenOfEmotion nah, i dont actually.

  • @slimithy12

cant remember the season.. its the one where he's in the woman's washroom burning his clothes (trace evidence of pussy in his drunken mind).

She ends up calling mcnulty to pick his ass up.

  • @ZenOfEmotion lol.....i must have a mind block cos i really cant remember that but im happy the bunk got some pussy though...lol.

  • @slimithy12

lol yeah.. the man ideed deserved some pussy - what with all the crap he went through due to his partner

  • @ZenOfEmotion k; wasn't that where he burned his suit McNulty got him out of the pick-up's bathroom and brought him home;end of the scene Bunk blames McNulty "what did I do??"

  • @badbadkingjohn

    yes, yes it was.

  • best cop partners ever.

  • slimcharles1000

    No doubt. The best ever.

  • is this the entire short?

  • The rapport between Jimmy and the Bunk is brilliant. Any scene they're together in seems to be made of solid gold

  • "The bunk sloppy?". No, never.

  • The Bunk is epic!

  • i love Mcnulty lol

  • bunk and mcnutly fuckin legends, so glad i saw this.

    cheers for upload

  • Why the hell did this series have only 5 seasons?

  • @id1337x The show costs started to run higher after every season so HBO said end it.

  • @jeff2all Thats not true, the entire plot was written before it was ever pitched to HBO, and it had 5 acts.

  • @id1337x ...the same reason Deadwood only had 3.....cash.

  • @id1337x because it was about character, Simon himself explained that, he couldn't continue to stretch the characters because they'd become unbelievable and The Wire was all about believable characters(no matter what homohaters, and people who think a kid from the street cant go all the way without getting to much notice from law enforcement).

  • mcnulty will now always be jigsaw.

  • Where can I see this? :O I'm still suffering from The Wire withdrawal symptoms. Need moore content!

  • mcnultys the man

  • such fucking great chemistry between these two actors....i hope they work together again

  • OH SHIT THE WIRE HAD PEQUEL SHOWS?

  • Wire ,Sopranos and Deadwood equal 1st place for best TV show ever made !

Deadwood wins on a photo finish though ! )

  • Bunk always have a blunt in his hand, McNulty always have a bottle of whiskey. POIFECT!

  • HBO did these 3 "prequel" films. (Bunk & McNulty, Omar Little and Prop Joe)They were on their website.

  • Single greatest show i've ever seen!

  • what's this from?

  • @malleymyster the pilot episode maybe, it wasn't in season 1-5

  • @Killoea

right. i didn't know if it was a deleted scene ( the dvd doesn't have any)

  • I love how McNulty corrupted Bunk

  • just finished watcing season 5 last night on dvd, now i feel lost :(

  • @lancsno1 why do u feel lost?

  • @lancsno1 I just finished watching it yesterday. That was probably one of the best TV shows ever made! I miss it real bad now.

  • @lancsno1 finished watching a week ago...nothing seems as good anymore and i feel lost. i feel u bro

  • @lancsno1 Do you feel like the love of your life just walked out the door and took the kids? Cause thats how I feel after Mcnulty left Baltimore.

  • @lancsno1 Me too, I just cry it's over, cry about Omar, cry there won't be a season 6....

  • You know you're the man when you can solve a homicide by just sayin fuck a bunch of times.

  • @SgtWreck You know you're the man when you can solve homicides by never being sober for a single second under the clock.

  • there is absolutely no tv series as good as The Wire; that is the way and sorry (not) to Sopronos, etal

One question though; Why no Captains in the BPD?

  • @badbadkingjohn They have a different system. Commission-->Deputy Commish-->Colonel-->Major-->staff Lieutant-->Lieut-->Sergant (I think)

  • @alec1115 thanks, what you say makes sense, as opposed to Simon simply screwing up; still funny the BPD would skip the captain level

  • I love the Wire but the Jameson product placement is way too obvious in all the episodes.

  • @counsellb maybe the writers can'nt name another irish whiskey. and what about the heinekens that everyone in baltimore drinks?

  • @wangpangu Nope. McNulty is offered some 'Bushmills' whiskey in a bar in either season one or two and dismisses it as a dirty Protestant drink.

  • @csummers20 maybe third season; he is chasing the hottie political operative who is running Carcetti's mayoral campaign and ends up at a fund raiser out in the burbs; he disses bushmill's as a prodie drink but takes it as the bartender notes that the price is right (does tip bartender)

  • @csummers20

Bushmills and Jameson's are both products of the same distillery. I prefer Jameson's myself.

  • @uhmfar Bushmills is protestant whiskey. Jameson is the real deal.

  • you must be american...

  • @uhmfar

Jameson is distilled in Cork - Bushmills is distilled in Antrim...about as far apart as you can get in Ireland, both culturally and geographically.

  • @lukessummerguitar And an old Jameson Distillery in Dublin

  • @orourkeda

Somebody should nip round there and buy Stephen Cluxton a bottle for that magical injury time point to win the All-Ireland final. I prefer Bushmills Black bush and Baileys myself along with a pint of Guinness...aaahhhhhh!!!

  • @lukessummerguitar Indeed he deserves. But booze is all good.

  • @counsellb It's Jimmy's favourite drink, would be odd for them to switch it to 'Powers' or a weak protestant whiskey like 'Bushmills'

  • Treme will never come close to being what the Wire was.

  • u right slim. without questions, best writing and characters ever

  • is that michael ballack

  • he looks like he's on crack in the beginning

  • "on the midnight shift i'm rarely sober..."

  • That's awesome. You can tell they were improvising towards the end. Which DVD is this from?

  • "Negro please!"-McNulty

  • mcnulty looks like a pug

  • @PesciNcasino WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING

  • Did McNulty just say "Negro please"?

  • @kandinskyforfootball Sounded like "amigo" to me.

  • Which season is?

  • @JohnDocHolliday Last season.

  • @JohnDocHolliday this isnt from any season, its a dvd extra prequel.

  • :36, classic Bunk look.

  • Funny the board with the cut neck ties, Landsman's Necktie Mausoleum, is half filled, on season five that mothafucka is packed.

  • awesome job man!

  • While I think McNulty always had good intentions, he did come off as an asshole about 95% of the time.

  • Would be a 'lmfao' after 2:17 (the fart) and Jimmy would say 'What the fuck did I do?'. Thats my favorite phrase of 'em.

  • what is that drink that mcnulty is always drinking?

  • @tomcbh

    jameson whiskey

  • Comment removed

  • Jameson's whiskey, I think.

  • Jameson Irish Whiskey!

  • @tomcbh

    Jamesons whisky I believe.

  • would be funny if rawls and omar hooked up

  • "Raise and shine and get the fuck gone!"

  • mcnulty fucking kicks ass-same guy who played jigsaw in Punisher War Zone

  • Bunk + McNulty = Win.

  • Where did you get this?

  • it's an extra on the season 1 dvd.

  • what is Bunk saying at 0:59 after seminar?

  • @SoulPower2008

Sounds like an eponym, "Francis (something) Lee."

  • @SoulPower2008

He is probably drunk when he said it, i can't hear what he says.

  • McNulty farts.. lol

  • That was a quality scene..bunk's face is priceless at times lol

  • this and along with several other scenes are on the dvd special features, if u buy the whole series box set of all 5 seasons

  • three scenes in total, two of which aren't worth the price of the box set
