  • Frederic Pignon seems so calm and easy going with his horses, I wonder if he is always like that? The horses seem happy to work with him, I hope they really are. He seems to allow just a touch of "sassy" which makes me believe he truly cares about the horses happiness. Again, I hope that is true.

  • We saw Cavalia near Seattle at Marymoor Park. If we had paid $500 per ticket I would have left believing we had witnessed wayyyyyyy more than our money's worth! It was non-stop gymnastics by humans, and ballet by both humans and horses - magical, mystical, stunningly beautiful (and impossible to describe)....

  • Very Beautiful. Love it.

  • wonderful:*

  • i loved this show i wanted to see it 1,000 more times<33

  • SO excited:)

  • I just saw this live in Vancouver on the 27th, and it was spectacular! Unfortunately the Friesians weren't in the act anymore, but Sylvia and her 7-Arab Grand Liberty is along the same lines, and it was worth the price of the tickets all on its own! I've always been a horse lover, and I've always loved to watch liberty performances, but this show has inspired me so much that I know I need to try it some day. Seriously, some day I'll start with a young foal and see where it goes!

  • @jennifergalland I just saw their last show in Van and was disappointed no Friesians, do you know why? It was a great show but I have to say., no Friesians was a burn for me.

  • @Dehzee Well, I've got 3 guesses. All Cavalia horses have a "double" - at least 2 horses are trained to do each part. My first guess is that either the friesian act replaced something else, or something else replaced the friesian act, for whatever reason, temporarily. My second guess is that the friesians were moved to the new Cavalia 2 team. My third guess is that the friesians are no longer with the company at all, either because they can't do it anymore, or because their owner left the troupe

  • @jennifergalland It was a bit disappointing that the horses were ears pinned back though, they weren't seeming happy to be there. One Arab was trying pretty hard to bite Sylvia, it didn't seem like the loving friendship I had hoped to see, maybe that left the show when Frederic did? The Roman/trick riding impressed me more than the liberty. The horses just didn't seem to happy or engaged.

  • @Dehzee Really? The night I saw it Sylvia's Arabs were quite cooperative and happy. One was pissing the others off, but they were friendly with her, and the ears were forward more often than back. The ears were often back on a lot of the horses because they were listening, though. A lot of the riders, like Jesse, were using vocal commands. The roman riding was definitely amazing! I'd like to know how they trained the horses to run so close together - most of the horses I've ridden hate it! lol.

  • That guy on the end obviously loves his horses and his job so much. They are so relaxed around him and they obviously trust him a lot. They are like best friends or brothers. It's truly beautiful :)

  • this horses is amazing *---*
