In "my world" the strings are numbered from one (1) to six (6) from the thinnest to the thickest. (in other words, the 6the string is on top).

Interesting that you think of it the other direction. Where did that come from? Even new strings in a package are numbered my way. Must be confusing for you.

@xLinkinPark1994x He's playing 16th notes. There is 4 beats(metronome clicks) in a measure. which means each beat is a quarter notes. He is playing 4 notes for every metronome click so he's playing 16th notes. If you play 8th notes (which would be half of what he's playing) then you would play 2 notes per click etc.

Why worry about the order of the strings? If you are playing your guitar and look at it the first string you see is the low E string. So from that perspective it's the first string. Doesn't really matter.

Anyways. Doing excercises with such a heavy distortion is one of the most stupidest things you can do to get better. Always do excercises clean. Distortion allows you to cheat and makes notes sound good even if you didn't really play them perfectly. You'll only be cheating on yourself.

One thing I think he should have mentioned is that you really shouldn't increase your tempo until you can perform the warm up flawlessly at your current speed, and then you should go ahead and speed up the tempo just a tad

hey are you always muting the strings, because when ever i try and do fast taping when my finger pulls of the string it always makes a sound, so i hit the note and then pull of and hear the open string note.

Hey buddy, when you do one scale & then the same scale backwards that's like what I call an Arpeggio...though this you can clearly hear is some kind of routine exercise (wheather you're using it to learn scales, or as a warm-up or as a way to test the neck of a used guitar in a pawn shop or whatever...because one thing I will say about this exercise, it sounds like it would be good to use a variety of frets or strings or some variation of the 2...& it would be good for testing an axe like that
