it should cancel by default when u press cancel but if it doesnt then after default button 1 type cancel button 2 and the problem should be fixed

how can you make the "cancel" button actually cancel the search? and then have a dialog box saying "search canceled" or something? thanks.

i did it exactly like your and everything comes up but the search does not turn green it turns black and i'm thinking thats why if wont search help?

this only works if you put an equal sign after the words "...search_query" and before the double quotation marks (")
