Earrings - I use an embroidery hoop with nice loose flowery fabric in the middle and then hung it off the corner of one of my shelves and kind of stick them through the fabric? It can look nice with some flowery material. Also washing lines (ribbon) with nice pegs and whatnot can be good for notes and photos if your walls are full like mine are :( xx
My dorm was soooo small. We had a wardrobe, a dresser, a desk, and a lofted bed. We had to keep the desk and the dresser underneath the bed which was just a fucking gymnastics competition to get into. The wardrobe was so small, I actually had to put my winter wear on top of it until I could take it home. The only thing I would recommend to bring would definitely be a futon, if you just have the dorm, you can rearrange everything and it makes a nice space to socialize or chill after a long day.
awww ur puppy looks like my puppy but my puppy has cream colored ears and a cream colored tail :D. is it a buchon poodle? and this video was very helpful! i just got my acceptance letter today to my college
@Xxladyem14xX Ahh, congrats! Those acceptance letters are awesome. Skippy is actually toy poodle and cockerspaniel...cockapoo is the official name, unfortunately, ha!
Lies! a printer is one of the best things to bring. Sometimes the areas that offer free printing may only be open certain hours of the day, like the library or the student center. So if you finish a paper at 2AM and it's due at 8AM or whatever, you'll be able to print it and not be screwed over. Just sayin.
@gEoRgEsTrAiTjUnKiE91 Yes I agree :) About three months after I made this video, I bought a printer because our printer was always broken when I needed it the most. My point was that it's a "want" instead of a "need"
Ha...20% of the wall space? When my boyfriend and his roommates went to check out their sophomore/junior year room, the walls were completely covered (floor to ceiling) with photo pages from Maxim and Hustler! Literally, 100% COVERED. When I helped him move in at the end of the summer, the walls were completely empty and surprisingly clean. Not sure if they did the cleaning themselves or paid the $500 fine for leaving stuff on the walls! I wonder what the mid-year fire inspector thought...
I thought the air thing was funny. You seem really cool. My roomate brought a printer, she didn't even really use it. I didn't bring one, everything was perfect for me. She also brought a tv, she diddidn't even really use. I use my laptop if I want to watch movies or anything.
@InkandPaperTwin Yeah. I got mine for my graduation present from my parents and it sucks. You only save about two dollars on each book and on some, you pay more. It's ridiculous.
A Kindle would be such a good idea for college! Unfortunately, you'd still have to lug the HP series with you... J.K. Rowling doesn't approve of EBooks, so Harry Potter is only available through audiobooks and actual books. :/
@WeAreFear Actually, the HP books are going to be made ebooks through Pottermore! :) Although I doubt I'll ever buy them on there, actual books > ebooks.
Thanks For the Video! I have a question Im planning on going out of state and far from home im from Illinois and planning on going to Penn state. So how would you recommend packing to get everything there in one trip in one car because its like an 8 hour drive and I'll probably have to drive up by myself! HELP!! Thanks
@AmandaPanda9696 First, def reccomend you buy what dorm stuff you need when you get there, it's save you from packing it in the car. Also, look up "Space Bags" here on Youtube. They're plasic bags you can put cloting/bedding in and then vaccum the air out of the bag, shrinking it. :)
I'm going to go to a private Christian school and there's a chapel everywhere so heals are a must for me unfortunately and jewelry is strictly forbidden (it has to do with my religion) so I'm good there but thanx ur video was informative and ur dog is so cute!
What's the difference between a private and public university? I live in and go to university in Canada and I don't think we have a difference.. I'm so confused lol!
PS, wish I could answer your kindle questions! I hate when I ask my viewers a question and I don't get an answer lol, I feel yea girl!
@xoHelloPritty Hey! Not a problem, I'll tell you the difference! A public school is generally less expensive, funded by the state, and meets the state school requirements. A private school has sponsors, so since it's not funded by the state it can make it's own requirements. For example, in a public school there is separation of church and state, so teachers can't teach religion beyond a theoretical point of view. My private school is religious (Christian) so we pray and have services :)
if you have 4 equal walls then 1 of them would be 25%
