Heyy im doing this pageant really soon and i need help i really want to win so any advice!! I have done this before but have never won anthing!! HELP!!!
oh they can tell you your actual place? well great job, i got a 7.4 in interview too. i think i would have done better but my hair and makeup guy made me late so i had to be last and i was really upset that it would mess up the scoring. you could see it in my face, but other than that it was good. but ya i know what you mean the 1st runner ups was like 3 minutes and she sang and everything haha
when i had mine at nationals, they called me Wisconsin instead of Washington, though i was going in order. I just kept on walking on the stage and laughing. lol
I had the same concern when I aged up to the teen division, but really it's all the same. I found that teen girls tend to have a little bit lengthy intros... mine was short and i still won my state title. when i got to the nationals though, i guess it wasn't enough. still placed top ten, but my intro received the lowest score. Honestly, it's just having that mindset that "I'm already a queen, and they gotta see it!" I guess i got worn out by the end of the week, to show it at the finale...
ok good because i noticed a difference between preteen and jr. teen i think thats probably the biggest transition. haha and my intro was pretty long too it was like a min and a half. I thought i did perfect and a few people told me it was really good but i messed up in formal wear :(

No. Top ten was all i got. We had A LOT of returning queens though. And 5 out of 10 were previous queens before, and we even had one national queen. And she didn't place either... it was random, but fun! 8)
NAM offers 6 different age divisions: Princess, Jr. Pre-teen, Pre-teen, Jr-teen, Teen, Miss. Girls in our age division have had previous NAM titles in younger age divisions a few years back. Some girls in the top ten at nationals even had state Teen USA and America's oustanding Teen titles.

I have no idea. i would like to know too. i called them and requested the scores, but never got them.. it'd be funny if i was actualy 10th. haha
